Challenges of a Small Kitchen. "How can we add a dishwasher and increase storage to our already small kitchen?" A good question for sure. We tucked the refrigerator into what had been a hall closet, encorporated a neat rolling cabinet/cutting board 'under' the new (handmade by owner) oak table, replaced a window into a new place, removed an space wasting unused brick chimney, strategically added many storage cabinets and removed bearing walls. The countertops are a combination of soapstone and Quartzite. We even squeezed in the "small but pretty" farm sink! "Lance Kramer (project manager) kept us informed every step, kept the job clean, did great work" ...and with a twinkle in his eye ... " I'd recommend you do not fire him". Richard L." Farmhouse sinks have a unique look and don't hide behind a counter or cabinet, but show off the boldness of the fixture. The counter top is cut in a way to frame the sink and allow for the porcelain to have center stage.

A contemporary kitchen with green cabinets in slab door and with brass profile gola channel accent. Worktops in calcatta gold quartz. Flooring in large format tile and rich engineered hardwood.

The kitchen is now opened onto the dining room, facilitating the every day life.

Niché dans le 15e, ce joli 63 m² a été acheté par un couple de trentenaires. L’idée globale était de réaménager certaines pièces et travailler sur la luminosité de l’appartement. 1ère étape : repeindre tout l’appartement et vitrifier le parquet existant. Puis dans la cuisine : réaménagement total ! Nous avons personnalisé une cuisine Ikea avec des façades Bodarp gris vert. Le plan de travail en noyer donne une touche de chaleur et la crédence type zellige en blanc cassé (@parquet_carrelage) vient accentuer la singularité de la pièce. Nos équipes ont également entièrement refait la SDB : pose du terrazzo au sol, de la baignoire et sa petite verrière, des faïences, des meubles et de la vasque. Et vous voyez le petit meuble « buanderie » qui abrite la machine à laver ? Il s’agit d’une création maison ! Nous avons également créé d’autres rangement sur-mesure pour ce projet : les niches colorées de la cuisine, le meuble bas du séjour, la penderie et le meuble à chaussures du couloir. Ce dernier a une toute autre allure paré du papier peint Jungle Cole & Son ! Grâce à la verrière que nous avons posée, il devient visible depuis le salon. La verrière permet également de laisser passer la lumière du salon vers le couloir.

Планировка выстроена таким образом, что в однокомнатной квартире уместились комфортная зона кухни, гостиная и спальня с гардеробом. Пространство квартиры сформировано 2-мя сопрягающимися через стекло кубами. В первом кубе размещена спальня и гардероб. Второй куб в шпоне американского ореха. Одна из его стен образует объем с кухонным оборудованием, другая, обращённая к дивану, служит экраном для телевизора. За стеклом, соединяющим эти кубы, располагается санузел, который инсолируется естественным светом. За счет опуска куба спальни, стеклянной перегородки санузла и атмосферного освещения удалось добиться эффекта единого «неба» над всей квартирой. Отделка пола керамогранитом под каррарский мрамор в холле перетекает в санузел, а затем на кухню. Эти решения создают целостный неделимый облик всех функциональных зон интерьера. Пространство несет в себе образ состояния уральской осенней природы. Скалы, осенний лес, стаи улетающих птиц. Все это запечатлено в деталях и отделочных материалах интерьера квартиры. Строительные работы заняли примерно полгода. Была произведена реконструкция квартиры с полной перепланировкой. Интерьер выдержан в авторской стилистике бюро Миллиметрика. Это отразилось на выборе материалов — все они подобраны в соответствии с образом решением. Сложные оттенки пожухшей листвы, припыленных скал, каррарский мрамор, древесина ореха. Птицы в полете, широко раскинувшие крылья над обеденной и тв зоной вот-вот улетят на юг, это серия светильников Night birds, "ночные птицы" дизайнера Бориса Климека. Композиция на стене напротив острова кухни из светящихся колец выполнена индивидуально по авторскому эскизу.

The homeowners were very concerned about over-improving their modest split-level home built in 1961. They liked the “mid-century modern” feel and wanted to enhance that vibe. Top on their wish list was to replace the portable dishwasher with a built-in and add a peninsula for seating and workspace. To keep the labor cost down, the soffits and existing ceiling lighting was left intact. The first option was to keep the existing cabinets; however, the original layout did not allow adequate counter space on either side of the cooktop. After considered the price of new cabinets, they realized the value of having a brand new kitchen. The fun begins in the design phase. We chose the horizontal grain laminate to blend with the color of the existing woodwork in the home. The textured rhomboid shaped tile steals the show when accented with contrasting grout. The kitchen is a little mod and a little hip. And fits in perfectly as today’s “mid-century modern” home.
