Limited with design options with existing U-Shape kitchen layout. Restrictive corners and lack of pantry and appliance storage. Client wanted clean, open lines and maximum (drawer) storage for small appliances and vast bake ware. To accommodate these needs we swapped the dinner and kitchen areas. Wasted under stairs storage was blocked up to create gallery style runs, with no corner solution necessary and an open spacious vibe. Relocation of plumbing and electrical was required in order to change the living arrangements and the flooring was completed post the kitchen for ease of installation and time management. Complimenting tones were achieved with the contrast between doors and matching feature stone benchtops and splashback. The chrome handles co-ordinated with the brushed aluminium-look kickboards and 2 tone silver and black appliances. A simplistic, timeless palette with subtle depth and dimension.

Open shelves in kitchens make everyday kitchen items easy to access. The open shelves to the right of the sink even house a toaster and mixer that you actually want to see, along with cookbooks, glassware, and ceramics. Small hexagonal tile goes up the entire wall for an easy to clean surface. GD Arredamenti teams up with Colonnade Group and architect Morris Adjmi for a new boutique residential development located in the Tribeca West Historic District, New York. The gracious interiors, design by Stefano Pasqualetti, and the layouts of these apartments provide for a quiet respite from city life and elegant entertaining; Velvet Elite walnut kitchen collection was used in a combination of frosted white glass with black aluminum frame and both walnut veneer and 3-layer solid Walnut (for the Penthouse only). In addition, beautiful marbles from Italy enrich the whole apartments; accordingly top of the line appliances from Miele and Subzero-Wolf makes these kitchens highly functional and yet beautiful. Master bathrooms and powder rooms, elegantly clad in custom etched Carrara marble, were also designed with the use of natural materials; such as custom built washbasins in Piasentina stone and Serena stone, all manufactured by GD Arredamenti.
