his modern new build located in the heart of Burnaby received an entire millwork and countertop package of the utmost quality. The kitchen features book matched walnut, paired with white upper cabinets to add a touch of light in the kitchen. Miele appliances surround the cabinetry. The home’s front entrance has matching built in walnut book matched cabinetry that ties the kitchen in with the front entrance. Walnut built-in cabinetry in the basement showcase nicely as open sightlines in the basement and main floor allow for the matching cabinetry to been seen through the open staircase. Fun red and white high gloss acrylics pop in the modern, yet functional laundry room. This home is truly a work of art!

Absolutely stunning Taj Mahal natural quartz countertop fabricated with a waterfall end on both sides. Upper wall cabinets were prepped with amber colored glass inserts. All Gaggenau appliances; 36" refrigerator, 24" microwave and oven, 30" cooktop. Stainless steel toekick throughout to enhance the other chrome and stainless steel hardware and appliances used. Appliance panels were used on the dishwasher and refrigerator. Two finish options are featured; Harbor Mist with Pewter Glaze and a custom high gloss paint. All Wood-Mode cabinets. This lovely Thousand Oaks home was completely remodeled throughout. Spaces included in this project were the kitchen, four bathrooms, office, entertainment room and master suite. Custom walnut cabinetry was given a clear coat finish to allow the natural wood color to stand out and be admired. The limestone counters are stunning and the waterfall edges add a contemporary flare. Oak wood floors were given new life with a custom walnut stain. Distinctive Decor 2016. All Rights Reserved.

Located on the dramatic North Cornwall coast and within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the clients for this remarkable contemporary family home shared our genuine passion for sustainability, the environment and ecology. One of the first Hempcrete block buildings in Cornwall, the dwelling’s unique approach to sustainability employs the latest technologies and philosophies whilst utilising traditional building methods and techniques. Wherever practicable the building has been designed to be ‘cement-free’ and environmentally considerate, with the overriding ambition to have the capacity to be ‘off-grid’. Wood-fibre boarding was used for the internal walls along with eco-cork insulation and render boards. Lime render and plaster throughout complete the finish. Externally, there are concrete-free substrates to all external landscaping and a natural pool surrounded by planting of native species aids the diverse ecology and environment throughout the site. This home is located in the in the heart of Northcenter and situated on an oversized lot with a tremendous view of a landscaped backyard garden. The client’s desire was to open the back kitchen wall to take advantage of the garden view and to incorporate the kitchen into the rest of the home. By adding a 3’-0” deep addition at the sink wall and increasing the overall size of the windows, Vesta was able to expand the views and to open the floor plan to create a functional island. The island in turn, added space for food prep & prep sink along with casual seating. By removing the adjoining Dining Room wall, Vesta created an open floor plan that enhanced the Owners everyday living experiences. The new Dining Buffet added storageand a visual break while maintaining the open feel. By using warm horizontal walnut tones, it allowed a reference back to the original mid-century feel of the décor of the home. Adding playful highlights of apple green, we took advantage of a palette that brought the natural outside elements back into the environment.

Modern, warm, and clean-line design, with total custom details and finishes. The front includes a serene and impressive atrium foyer with two-story floor to ceiling glass walls and multi-level fire/water fountains on either side of the grand bronze aluminum pivot entry door. Elegant extra-large 47'' imported white porcelain tile runs seamlessly to the rear exterior pool deck, and a dark stained oak wood is found on the stairway treads and second floor. The great room has an incredible Neolith onyx wall and see-through linear gas fireplace and is appointed perfectly for views of the zero edge pool and waterway. The center spine stainless steel staircase has a smoked glass railing and wood handrail.
