Kitchen Furniture The kitchen furniture used for this project is from one of our German supplier Nobilia’s most premium ranges: Lux. The Lux range is aptly named. Its composition utilises a quality lacquer which creates a flawless high-gloss finish and is extremely durable when usual kitchen use is inflicted. The gloss effect Lux range was chosen to reflect the client’s wish of a light kitchen space, with the gloss door fronts bouncing light around the room to create shimmering kitchen space. The two colour choices Satin Grey and Slate Grey combine perfectly with the use of copper accents, bringing balance to the space. A key feature of this kitchen space is the media area which has been highlighted and surrounded by luxurious glazed glass units and deep pan drawers for storage, which themselves have been upgraded throughout the kitchen to glass sided uprights for extra strength and style. Kitchen Appliances Along with kitchen furniture and cabinetry, careful selection of kitchen appliances were chosen for this kitchen not just to match the overall style but to match the necessary daily uses of the customer. The large bank of tall units houses not only cooking appliances, but integrated refrigeration and freezing appliances integrated seamlessly into the furniture. This bank features three ovens from cooking enthusiast inspired manufacturer Neff, in the form of two Slide&Hide single ovens and a Slide&Hide combination microwave oven. The fourth appliance in this appliance grid is a wine cabinet from manufacturer CDA which enables the powerful cooling of up to twenty-four Bordeaux wine bottles. On the longest run of units in this kitchen a Siemens IQ700 induction hob features in the unique stainless-steel finish, which is not only a stylish and in keeping appliance, it offers several innovative features like intuitive touchSlider operation, flexible induction zone cooking and fryingSensor technology. The most stylish appliance in this kitchen however, is undoubtedly the beautiful Elica Dolce cooker hood, which not only harnesses powerful extraction of cooking fumes but continues the classy copper theme further throughout this kitchen. Kitchen Features & Accessories To meet the brief of the customer this kitchen had to be functional, meaning clever storage solutions are included throughout this kitchen. An example of this is the pull-out Dispensa storage from Kesseböhmer which feature either side of the main bank of appliances and enable a small amount of space to harbour useful storage capacity. A Quooker flex boiling tap is used above a Blanco undermounted Silgranite sink which makes a safe boiling water supply accessible from the same faucet as usual cold and warm water. As part of the installation of this project our electrical team have installed copper pendant lighting centrally above the island, increasing the ability for this kitchen to work as a social space with touch flip plug sockets used in several places for easy access to power. Our Gas Safe registered team have also installed a full-height radiator which is shown in a contemporary grey shade matching the kitchen colour scheme. Contemporary British Kitchen in Billingshurst, West Sussex

A blue and grey theme and peninsula island space achieve this client's ambitions for this extended kitchen area. The Brief This client sought a kitchen design to suit the modern rear extension being built at their property. They favoured a contemporary theme with plenty of modern inclusions to add daily function to their new kitchen space. A breakfast bar or island was a key requirement, as a place to perch and to make the area more sociable. Design Elements A combination of Indigo Blue and Light Grey cabinetry has been utilised to achieve the modern design this client favoured. The furniture is from British brand Trend and is their Matt effect foiled slab option, which has been paired with integrated chrome handles. To best utilise the space within the new extension, designer Alistair has created a L-shape layout with tall units used to house appliances and important storage space. The island area was a key desirable, and Alistair has incorporated this by using a wrap-around peninsula design. This design adds storage and provides a social space to perch while cooking or for more casual use. The island and entire kitchen are fitted with hard-wearing quartz work surfaces from brand Silestone. The chosen finish Snowy Ibiza is a white veined option that teams really well with grey accents used in the room. To match the work surfaces and light theme a quartz composition 1.5 bowl Blanco silgranite sink has also been installed. Special Inclusions As well as a redesign of the kitchen area, this client sought to improve the usability and function of the space with a new array of appliances. A selection of Neff appliances have been specified, which where possible have been integrated to allow the indigo blue and light grey theme to take centre-stage. A Neff single oven, combination oven, refrigerator, freezer, hob, extractor, dishwasher and integrated washing machine have been supplied and installed as part of this project. Our team also installed some of the finishing touches to this project. Karndean flooring has been installed throughout the kitchen and island area, and the honed oyster slate finish combines well with lighter elements of the theme. To heat the new extension our team have also installed a full-height anthracite radiator close to the sink area. Project Highlight This island area is the highlight of this project, its unique shape incorporates useful storage and the perching area this client required. During construction designer Alistair recommended the widening of the doorway to increase spaciousness of the island, which adds a great flow in between the living room and kitchen. The End Result The end result achieves all the elements of this client’s initial brief whilst incorporating great design expertise from kitchen designer Alistair. This project highlights the fantastic results that can be achieved for extension projects. High-Tech Nobilia Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex
High-Tech Nobilia Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex
Alexander KitchensAlexander Kitchens
High-Tech Nobilia Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex In one of our most forward-thinking projects to date, designer George Harvey has designed a vibrant and technologic kitchen space that incorporates useful innovations for this local Horsham client. Like many who visit our showrooms, this client was blown away with new technologies that can be incorporated into a kitchen space. Eventually this client’s wish of an advanced kitchen space became a reality through clever design and a bit of help from our expert installation team. As with many of our projects this kitchen makes the most of our complete installation service, opting to fill an original doorway and create a new access off the main hall whilst widening the original hall space at the same time. The main run of units features wall units, base units and full-height units to house cooking appliances, storage and sink facilities as well as decorative shelving. A key element of this projected is tailored to the now common work from home option, with a versatile peninsula island vital to the final functioning of this space – the added option of bar seating and a large volume of storage helps to achieve this project brief. The result of this ancillary and building work is a spacious kitchen which flows nicely through to a sunny family room to the rear of the property that functions perfectly for the client. Kitchen Furniture Furniture from our German supplier Nobilia’s Touch range has been used throughout this kitchen and provides a subtle silky texture. Touch furniture uses bevelled corners for a premium feel. The fact that the range itself is available in several colour options has contributed to it being one of our most popular Nobilia kitchen ranges. For this project Touch furniture has been used in the contemporary Satin Grey finish, this neutral colour choice allows accents like the glass bright blue splashback to bring vast vibrancy to the kitchen. Across the main run and island, a huge amount of storage has been incorporated, while a reduced depth sideboard style run enhances storage and worktop space further. The furniture choice has also been based around the key them of this kitchen: technology, with the handless furniture option allowing for ultra-modern LED strip lighting to be integrated in the handle wells on the island and sideboard storage. Kitchen Appliances The appliances used for this project are what really makes such a state-of-the-art kitchen. Appliances like Neff’s Slide & Hide oven are commonplace in many of our installations. This kitchen though makes use of their high-specification N90 model. Incorporating an integrated cleaning system, baking and roast assistant and Home Connect capabilities to allow control through a device or smart speaker. To accompany, a N90 combination microwave also features in this kitchen which also harnesses Home Connect capabilities as well as integrated cleaning. This combination microwave also gives the client a flexible cooking option with the appliances doubling as another oven as required. An undermounted Neff fridge gives extra cold storage in addition to this client’s own appliances. Sitting on the main run is another ultra-modern appliance, a Bora Pure venting hob. This appliance was specified by the client to increase storage space, as due to an integrated ventilation system, no extractor hood is required. Minimalistic design and a low installation height mean this appliance is integrated seamlessly into the worktops with plenty of room for cutlery and pan drawers beneath. The Bora Pure also boasts four oversized cooking zones, that use instant induction power for efficient cooking whilst a low volume extractor removes all odour and steam. Kitchen Accessories To continue the ultra-modern theme of this kitchen, a Quooker Flex boiling tap has been included which includes a pull-out nozzle and for this project a new Cube tank has been included as well. The Quooker Cube tank incorporates refreshing sparkling and filtered chilled water in addition to cold, hot and boiling water – which come as standard with any Quooker tank. The Quooker is set above an undermounted Blanco sink which in itself continues this kitchen aesthetic with a contemporary white finish. To further the futuristic dynamic George has included fantastic lighting, with well-placed LED spotlights underneath wall units and LED strip lighting under handleless rails on the island and sideboard area. This lighting not only continues the theme of the kitchen, with spotlights highlighting the of quartz worktops and vibrant blue splashback on the main run. As part of this installation Karndean flooring has also been installed across the kitchen area, with the Rose Washed Oak finish used throughout the space from the popular Knight Tile range. Our Kitchen Design & Installation Service As with most of our installations this client has taken the opportunity to completely redesign their kitchen using our complete installation service. For this project our installation team moved and created a doorway, as well as undertaking all structural work. The final result is a kitchen that is perfectly equipped for the future thanks to a new flowing layout and innovative kitchen design and appliances. Nobilia Kitchen in Angmering, West Sussex This kitchen design and installation is a recently rephotographed project that took place in Angmering, West Sussex. The design of this kitchen has been optimised to suit its location within the house and importantly the customer’s brief, which was to create a space that was social, spacious, homely and a sweeping link between the centre of the home and the garden. An impressive addition to this kitchen is the beautiful copper accents which represent a growing trend in kitchen design at the moment. Thanks to a number of impressive kitchen copper additions this theme is cleverly combined within kitchen appliances and design features. The Brief The first time we visited this Ovingdean property was around 15 years ago, when we installed a traditional style kitchen for these clients. The brief for their second kitchen installation with us, was completely different, swapping a traditional style for a clean and modern aesthetic. The requirement for this project sought a clever design incorporating social seating options, as well as including organised storage and a space designated to a fantastic drinks collection. Design Elements The layout of this kitchen makes the most of the space, with a large island the focal point of the main kitchen area. To include the designated storage for food and drinks, designer Aron has placed fitted pantries either side of a chimney breast, each with built-in storage for organisation. The theme is a nod to the coastal location of this property, with a popular azure blue finish combined with gloss white cabinetry used for wall units and the island. The furniture used in this kitchen is from British supplier Trend, with the flat-slab profile door deployed across all cabinetry. To soften edges around the island space curved units have been utilised alongside blanco maple quartz work surfaces from supplier Silestone. Special Inclusions High-specification cooking appliances have been included in this project, with a custom combination of Neff products incorporated to suit the needs of this client. A Neff slide & hide oven, combination oven and warming drawer are grouped within furniture, with full-height Neff fridge and freezer located either side of the appliances. On the opposing side of the kitchen area, a Neff flexInduction hob has been incorporated with an in-built extractor integrated above. Where possible appliances have been integrated behind furniture to not interrupt the theme of this space, with an integrated washing machine and dishwasher located within base units. Project Highlight The designated storage in the dining area is an enviable highlight of this space. One is allocated to ambient foods, with the other used to house in impressive drinks collection, which teams perfectly with a built-in 60cm wine cabinet in the kitchen area. Both boast premium oak internals to help with organisation. The End Result The result of this project is a kitchen that utilises a lovely coastal theme, delivering on the modern brief required. The use of pantry storage for food and drink also leaves a wonderfully organised lasting impression. Contemporary German Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex

Contemporary German Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex A rethink of this Horsham kitchen helped create a new functional island space, new kitchen entrance and matching utility. The Brief This client sought to make changes to their previous kitchen involving a rethink of their kitchen island, in addition to an all-round modernisation. From early project conversations it was clear that well organised storage was key, as well as including plenty of worktop space. As part of the project, creating a new doorway into the kitchen was also required, as well as an in keeping renovation of a utility space. Design Elements Designer Alistair has utilised a layout not dissimilar from the previous kitchen, instead replacing stand-alone island with a peninsula island space connected to the kitchen. This minor layout change helped to incorporate the vast worktop space this client required, as well as the social island area that the client desired. A subtle two-tone theme was another wish of the client, with glossy handleless finishes Satin Grey and Slate Grey contributing to the contemporary aesthetic of this space. The design is accompanied by plenty of lighting options to add a further modern feel, including undercabinet downlights, ceiling downlights and plinth lighting. Behind the hob a glass splashback has been included which has been chosen in a black shimmer finish, complimenting the overall design as well as the white quartz work surfaces, named Snowy Ibiza. Special Inclusions The client was keen to keep the kitchen area feeling light and spacious, and so another key part of the design was the use of full-height cabinetry to house the majority of appliances. Here a number of Neff appliances feature, including a Slide & Hide oven, combination oven, warming drawer, refrigerator and freezer which have both been integrated behind furniture. A Neff hob has been placed just to the side, above which a built-in Neff extractor is integrated to remove any cooking odours. Opposite, a Quooker boiling water tap has been installed above a Blanco quartz composed sink which ties in nicely with the chosen work surface. Looking towards the utility area, sideboard style furniture has been included as a space to store small appliances that are used daily, as well as cupboard space for added extra storage. Here you can also see the new doorway into the kitchen, which leads from the hallway of this property. Project Highlight A matching utility upgrade was a key part of this project, and designer Alistair was tasked with integrating extra storage, laundry appliances, plus a small sink area. This area makes use of Satin Grey furniture and a laminate work surface option. Beneath the work surface you might also spot a bed area for this client’s pooch. The End Result For this project designer Alistair has created a clever design to achieve all the elements of this project brief, including an important island change and a matching utility. With this project involving a full kitchen and utility renovation, flooring improvement throughout and even building work for a new doorway; this project highlights the amazing results that can be achieved utilising our complete design and installation service.
