This week we will be sharing the kitchen, pantry, and living area. All of these spaces use Marsh Furniture's Apex door style to create a uniquely clean and modern living space. The Apex door style is very minimal making it the perfect cabinet to showcase statement pieces like a stunning counter top or floating shelves. This contemporary kitchen utilizes the natural light within the space. White slab doors adorned with polished chrome hardware accent the stainless steel counter tops with a built in stainless steel sink. A contrasting island situated adjacent to the gas cook top also offers bar height seating for guests. A built up white engineered quartz counter top tops off the island and wraps around the corner. Frosted glass upper cabinets add storage and aesthetic, adding an industrial feel to the overall kitchen.

The wall cabinets are not IKEA. They’re Kraftmaid. This is where IKD’s kitchen design knowledge comes into play. Jennifer had planned to use IKEA wall cabinets, but there was one snag. Her only option for that corner cabinet near the sink was the IKEA corner wall cabinet. And Jennifer didn’t want that. It’s understandable. The angled door of a traditional corner cabinet would look much too old-fashioned for a MCM kitchen like this. See us at: inspiredkitchendesign.com

Soft colors and clean lines add warmth to a modern remodeling. Nestled in the hills of Los Angeles, this home is surrounded by beautiful views. With two homeowners that love to cook, this kitchen needed to be functional and fresh. While the structure is modern, the maple color on these flat panel cabinets adds a soft feel. Our designer too great care to ensure that this kitchen reflected the laid-back California layout of this beautiful home, while keeping in mind that this couple loved to entertain!

This Los Altos kitchen features cabinets from Aran Cucine’s Bijou collection in Gefilte matte glass, with upper wall cabinets in white matte glass. The massive island, with a white granite countertop fabricated by Bay StoneWorks, features large drawers with Blum Intivo custom interiors on the working side, and Stop Sol glass cabinets with an aluminum frame on the front of the island. A bronze glass tile backsplash and bronze lamps over the island add color and texture to the otherwise black and white kitchen. Appliances from Miele and a sink by TopZero complete the project.
