Classic British Kitchen in Haywards Heath, West Sussex This recent Haywards Heath kitchen project spans three rooms, making the most of classic British-made furnishings for local clients who sought an ‘all under one roof’ renovation solution. This project is located within Haywards Heath although the property is closer to the picturesque village of Lindfield. The overall brief for this project involved transforming three rooms into a sequence of functional spaces, with a main kitchen area, separate dining and living space as well as a spacious utility area. To bring the client’s vision to life, a doorway from the kitchen into the dining area has been created to make a flowing passage through the rooms. In addition, our fitting team have undertaken a full flooring improvement, using British Karndean flooring with underfloor heating installed as part of this comprehensive project. Lighting, electrics, and plastering have also taken place where necessary to enhance the final finish of the space. Kitchen Furniture The furniture used for this renovation is British made, using traditional carpentry and cabinetry methods. From the Mereway Signature collection, this furniture is most luxurious shaker kitchen option offered by the British kitchen maker, using dovetail joinery and robust craftsmanship for a traditional and long-lasting furniture option. The detail of the Signature collection is best showcased in the detailed shaker frame and elegant cornices that decorate full-height units and wall units. The popular Cashmere colourway has been used throughout furnishings across rooms. The layout is comprised of two parallel runs with an end run used to house sink and dishwashing facilities. The layout ensures there is plenty of floorspace in the kitchen whilst nicely leading into the next-door dining and living room. Kitchen Appliances Across the kitchen Neff appliances feature prominently for a premium specification of appliances. A sizeable Neff flexInduction hob is included with a feature glass extractor for seamless cooking, and notably, dual Neff single ovens. These possess a useful Pyrolytic cleaning ability, turning cooking residue in to ash for simple non-hazardous cleaning. Another popular inclusion in this kitchen is a built-in Neff microwave. This has been neatly integrated into wall unit furniture, removing the need for small appliances on the worktop. On a similar note, a Quooker boiling tap features above the main sink again removing the need for a traditional kettle. A Neff dishwasher and full-height refrigerator have been integrated into furniture to maintain the kitchen aesthetic. Kitchen Accessories A selection of durable and desirable features are showcased throughout this project. Organic White Quartz work surfaces feature throughout the kitchen and utility space, nicely complementing Cashmere furnishings. The end-run area utilises a undermounted stainless steel sink with drainer grooves integrated into the work surface. An integrated bin system is included here for extra convenience. Another popular feature in this kitchen is the built-in CDA wine cabinet. This model has capacity for twenty wine bottles that are precisely cooled through a regulated temperature control system. To heat the rooms, in keeping full-height radiators have been fitted throughout. In a perfect warming combination, our fitting team have expertly installed underfloor heating and Misty Grey Oak Karndean Flooring throughout the three rooms. Kitchen Features Throughout the kitchen area feature and decorative units have been included to create a unique design. Glass fronted wall units have been nicely used to showcase pertinent items and maintain the kitchen theme. Above the wine cabinet a full height exposed unit has been used as a neat and tidy decorative space. Feature storage makes the most of the space available with a full height pull-out storage and plentiful storage throughout. Dovetail joinery and oak finished drawer internals keep stored items neat and tidy whilst providing timeless handcrafted detail. Kitchen Utility & Dining Room To create a continuous theme across the three rooms, matching flooring, work surfaces and furnishings have been used. Generous storage in the utility ensures that there is a place for all cleaning items and more, with laundry facilities neatly fitted within furniture. Flooring, plumbing, electrics, and lighting have also been adjusted to reflect the new layout, with a step into the dining room from the kitchen also created. Die Doppelhaushälfte wurde kernsaniert und nach den Wünschen der Kunden offen und zeitlos ausgestattet. Im Erdgeschoss ließen wir dazu die Küchenwände entfernen. Der Eingang ist jetzt mit einer raumhohen Schrankanlage – vom Schreiner auf Maß gefertigt – und einer Mattglas-Schiebetür abgetrennt. Eines der Schrankelemente ist eine offene Garderobe zum Flur, in den anderen Schränken sind Kühlschrank, Backofen und Küchengeräte in Richtung Küche untergebracht. Die Spüle ist unter dem Fenster flächenbündig in die Arbeitsplatte aus cremefarbenem Silestone eingelassen. Die Position wurde dabei so gewählt, dass sich beide Fensterflügel an der Armatur vorbei öffnen lassen. Rechts läuft die Arbeitsplatte in ein offenes Fach für die dort angeschlossenen Küchengeräte hinein. So lassen sich diese für die Benutzung einfach nach vorn ziehen. Werden sie nicht gebraucht, kann das Fach mit einem Rollladen geschlossen werden. Auf der anderen Seite ist das Kochfeld mit integriertem Muldenlüfter untergebracht. Beleuchtet wird die Arbeitsfläche durch eingelassene LED-Leisten in den Oberschränken. Abgetrennt wird die Küche durch ein halbhohes Schrankelement mit einem eingebauten Weinkühlschrank an der Kopfseite. Es dient zugleich als Rückwand für die Eckbank am Essplatz. Seine Deckplatte aus Nussbaum nimmt die Optik des Bodens wieder auf.

This kitchen renovation consisted of a kitchen reface, where we updated the cabinets with an MDF Michigan door style in colour SW6251 - Outerspace featuring black handles. We installed a Quartzite Negresco Honed countertop with a granite sink in pearl black and a chrome faucet and drinking faucet. A white Teramoda tile was installed for the kitchen backsplash. Two pendant lights were installed over the peninsula and we replaced the ceiling light in the dinette area. Vinyl plank flooring was installed throughout the kitchen, dinette area, laundry room and hallway/closet leading to garage and baseboards were installed. The entire kitchen, laundry room and hallway area were painted. We also updated the ceiling fixture over the kitchen with pot lights.

Contemporary kitchen wasn't meeting the needs of a younger family and so we redesigned it with brand new green cabinets and a beautiful quartz counter top to match. We also moved their refrigerator over for more use of kitchen space.

Timeless Mereway Kitchen in Worthing, West Sussex With a clean and light feel, this kitchen renovation from Worthing, West Sussex boasts a timeless dynamic, perfectly tailored to fit the space with both traditional and contemporary kitchen features. Housed in a traditional Worthing home a stone’s throw from our Worthing showroom is this elegant British kitchen that is packed with kitchen features and accessories. Managing director Phil has designed this almost entirely using our virtual appointment service, this project is a fantastic example of the results that can be achieved using our online services. The brief for this project was a contemporary upgrade on the existing kitchen, which can be viewed below. Much of the kitchen layout has stayed the same as the original, with an island replacing the original octagonal peninsula island. Upgrades have been made throughout the space to suit the lifestyle of this client, with enhanced in-cupboard storage solutions used so there is no need for clutter in the kitchen. The Previous Kitchen Many features of the previous kitchen have been adapted into the new kitchen space. The original octagonal island has been replaced with a stand-alone island and Corian work surfaces have again been used at the client’s request to give a neat flowing appearance to the worktops. The layout of the kitchen is much the same with a wall-to-wall run replacing the previous L shaped layout opposite the island. Curved units replace the previous chamfered exposed shelving with a plenty of wine storage featuring on the opposite side of the new island. Kitchen Furniture To create this clean and quintessential kitchen space, British supplier Mereway have been selected. Mereway have one of the vastest collections of shaker style furniture, with the client opting to use the contemporary Charnwood range for their renovation. The Cashmere colour option has been used for the kitchen with the client choosing a lighter kitchen tone to keep the space feeling light and airy. The Charnwood range also gives this project flexibility with the option of curved units and heaps of neat storage and design features. To complement furniture, chrome doorknobs and shell handles have been used for simple and stylish access. Kitchen Appliances To bring functionality to this kitchen space, Neff appliances have been used throughout with a double oven, gas hob, undermounted fridge and built-in extractor all included as part of the renovation. The Neff N70 gas hob has been integrated into the island space with the built-in extractor directly above. This hob boasts five burning areas, with a dual ring wok burner included for fast cooking. Neff FlameSelect technology features on this appliance with the precise option of nine cleverly controlled gas flows. The extraction system above this hob is another similar inclusion to the original kitchen but has been scaled back in size to ensure that there is a clean sight across the kitchen space. A remote control built into this appliance operates this hob with a stainless-steel panel descending to channel cooking odours and scents into the extraction system. A Wifi enabled Neff double oven and integrated Neff fridge have been integrated behind furniture for extra cold storage and extra cooking capabilities. Kitchen Accessories One of the most alluring inclusions in this kitchen is the beautiful Corian work surfaces. Selected in the Limestone Prima finish, these worktops create a beautiful flowing aesthetic through their acrylic composition and alluring options. The Limestone Prima choice for this project uses a light grey base with flecks and earthy veining to create a fantastic appearance. The Corian surface expands out to the main window in this kitchen, with a seamless join between the crisp white kitchen sink and worksurface with integrated drainer grooves into the sink and heat mat aside the hob. Above the Corian worktop upstands, trendy white metro tiling has been fitted up to wall units where undercabinet LED lighting beams down, illuminating the food preparation areas. Kitchen Features A vast selection of kitchen features has enabled the client to put their own unique twist on their kitchen space. Inventive storage solutions in both corners of the u-shape kitchen area help maximise storage with pull out drawers integrated into a tall unit opposite the oven. As mentioned, an integrated wine store has been included in the rear of the island with storage for twenty-four bottles. Alongside the run of units on the right-hand side of this kitchen a decorative area has been created by combining exposed shelving and glass fronted units. This has been used by the client to store glassware and books in a nicely finished fashion. Curved units have been used to soften any harsh edges in this kitchen, with the Corian carefully fabricated around the curves to create a nice soft feel about the space.
