Jeanine Turner, the creative force behind Turner Design Firm, skillfully orchestrated this renovation with a clear vision—to harness and amplify the breathtaking views that the condominium's generous glass expanses offer from the open floor plan. Central to the renovation's success was the decisive removal of the walls that previously enclosed the refrigerator. This bold move radically enhanced the flow of the space, allowing for an uninterrupted visual connection from the kitchen through to the plush lounge and elegant dining area, and culminating in an awe-inspiring, unobstructed view of the harbor through the stately full-height windows. A testament to the renovation's meticulous attention to detail, the selection of the quartzite countertops resulted from an extensive and discerning search. The adjacent wet bar was updated to match the white cabinets and quartzite countertop in the kitchen. As part of the design, Progressive added a large X-style wine rack and a storage garage for the bar blender, bottles of spirits, and other drink accessories. A seedy glass insert and accent lighting completed the transformation.

This lovely west Plano kitchen was updated to better serve the lovely family who lives there by removing the existing island (with raised bar) and replaced with custom built option. Quartzite countertops, marble splash and travertine floors create a neutral foundation. Transitional bold lighting over the island offers lots of great task lighting and style.

This custom kitchen checked all the boxes for this large family! Seating for all the kids on the island, room for the feast table, a 60" range for crafting mega meals, and the warm, cozy, comfortable feeling of home. We were successful in this pursuit by relocating the garage access, and reorienting the kitchen. This allowed for primary and secondary prep zones, primary and secondary wash zones and the chef zone on the island. Hidden appliances give the feeling that this is more than a kitchen, it's a family hang-out space. The soft visual texture of the Fantasy Brown Quartzite counters add a richness and depth. Walls wrapped in a high-performance textured wallcovering soften, while the grey trim and doors warms this cozy space.
