Our clients had previously carried out a lot of work on their old warehouse building to create an industrial feel. They always disliked having the kitchen & living room as separate rooms so, wanted to open up the space. It was important to them to have 1 company that could carry out all of the required works. Design Interiors own team removed the separating wall & flooring along with extending the entrance to the kitchen & under stair cupboards for extra storage. All plumbing & electrical works along with plastering & decorating were carried out by Design Interiors along with the supply & installation of the polished concrete floor & works to the existing windows to achieve a floor to ceiling aesthetic. Tim designed the kitchen in a bespoke texture lacquer door to match the ironmongery throughout the building. Our clients who are keen cooks wanted to have a good surface space to prep whilst keeping the industrial look but, it was a priority for the work surface to be hardwearing. Tim incorporated Dekton worktops to meet this brief & to enhance the industrial look carried the worktop up to provide the splashback. The contemporary design without being a handless look enhances the clients’ own appliances with stainless steel handles to match. The open plan space has a social breakfast bar area which also incorporate’s a clever bifold unit to house the boiler system which was unable to be moved.

Working with our long standing property developer client, Beaufield Homes; KCA designed and installed the kitchen for this five bedroom, 3 story detached house backing onto open fields in Cobham. Situated on the ground floor of the house features this highly specified kitchen which is open plan to the dining and family areas, with large bi-fold doors leading onto the rear garden. The design includes contemporary Systemat furniture in Putty Concrete and Pearl Grey with Miele appliances. Silestone worktops in Snowy Ibiza and a mitered Silestone breakfast bar in Cemento Spa.

A four bedroom, two bathroom functional design that wraps around a central courtyard. This home embraces Mother Nature's natural light as much as possible. Whatever the season the sun has been embraced in the solar passive home, from the strategically placed north face openings directing light to the thermal mass exposed concrete slab, to the clerestory windows harnessing the sun into the exposed feature brick wall. Feature brickwork and concrete flooring flow from the interior to the exterior, marrying together to create a seamless connection. This client had a compact area in which to incorporate a complete kitchen space. It needed to feel contemporary, stylish and a part of greater picture of the open plan area. In essence, here we needed to create a kitchen that didn't much feel like a kitchen! All appliances are integrated with the exception of the coffee machine at the clients request. To the left you can see we have installed both a mixer tap, and an automatic boiling and filtered water tap also.

Updating of this Venice Beach bungalow home was a real treat. Timing was everything here since it was supposed to go on the market in 30day. (It took us 35days in total for a complete remodel). The corner lot has a great front "beach bum" deck that was completely refinished and fenced for semi-private feel. The entire house received a good refreshing paint including a new accent wall in the living room. The kitchen was completely redo in a Modern vibe meets classical farmhouse with the labyrinth backsplash and reclaimed wood floating shelves. Notice also the rugged concrete look quartz countertop. A small new powder room was created from an old closet space, funky street art walls tiles and the gold fixtures with a blue vanity once again are a perfect example of modern meets farmhouse.

The open plan living, dining and kitchen space is kept light and airy thanks to an impressive opening looking into an internal atrium. The soft grey kitchen is highlighted with the stunnibg grey stone, and given a luxury feel with the use of a smoked glass splashback. A new kitchen to exuded individuality and elegance, whilst connecting to the weightless, warm and open atmosphere one instantly feels upon entering the property.The decision to use a timber veneer for the cabinetry meant that we had the one of a kind feel that the client desired. Doors were designed with a 35mm edge profile with a mitred detail to all four corners. The unique mixture of the satin nickel finished brass mesh and grill and the timber veneer added warmth to the space which was important as the property faces south. The feeling of weightlessness and openness was achieved in a number of ways. A steel frame was designed to elevate the island cabinetry. This made the kitchen cabinetry appear light and also made the island look like a piece of bespoke, elegant furniture. The satin nickel finished brass mesh and grill feature doors to the back of the island also add to the open feeling of the kitchen as you can see through the mesh and these cabinets serve as display cabinets. A toughened mirror splashback was also specified. This perfectly reflected the water views, contributing to the open feel of the new kitchen, connecting it to the outside.

Zum klaren Ensemble der Küchenmöbel zeigt sich das Mattgrau wunderbar kontrastreich zu den weißen Wänden, an denen ein minimalistisches, offenes Regal Platz für tägliches Geschirr aufweist.

This open plan kitchen is a mix of Anthracite Grey & Platinum Light Grey in a matt finish. This handle-less kitchen is a very contemporary design. The Ovens are Siemens StudioLine Black steel, the hob is a 2in1 Miele downdraft extractor which works well on the island.
