For this homeowner, we gutted and completely remodeled the existing kitchen space as well as building a 12’ by 19’ addition to enlarge the kitchen and create a new dining area. To maintain a natural flow between the existing space and the new addition, we installed a 19’ support beam across the opening to create an open feel for the homeowner.

Kate came to our Hove showroom and met with our Design Specialist, Jan. They were looking to complete refresh the kitchen area from the traditional, shaker style kitchen they had at the time, to something with a much more modern feel to it.

Following building works to connect the existing kitchen and dining space, Now Kitchens worked with the clients to create a light, modern design that maximised the space. The light greys reflected the modern theme of the rest of the home, whilst providing a softer tone to contrast against the natural wooden floors. A full suite of NEFF appliances completed the space. Design notes: Kitchen & Utility room units: Masterclass Sutton Silk in Light Grey. Portland Oak cabinet interiors. Stainless Steel handles. Worktop: Santamargarita Carnia Quartzstone worktop 30mm, 20mm upstands, square polished edges. Equipment: Neff Compact Oven With Microwave, Single Oven (Circotherm), Flexinduction Hob, Tall Built In Single Door Freezer, Warming Drawer, Built Under Single Door Fridge, Fully Integrated 60cm Dishwasher. 600 space tower larder. Pull out bin system . Tap & Sink: Blanco.

Die Doppelhaushälfte wurde kernsaniert und nach den Wünschen der Kunden offen und zeitlos ausgestattet. Im Erdgeschoss ließen wir dazu die Küchenwände entfernen. Der Eingang ist jetzt mit einer raumhohen Schrankanlage – vom Schreiner auf Maß gefertigt – und einer Mattglas-Schiebetür abgetrennt. Eines der Schrankelemente ist eine offene Garderobe zum Flur, in den anderen Schränken sind Kühlschrank, Backofen und Küchengeräte in Richtung Küche untergebracht. Die Spüle ist unter dem Fenster flächenbündig in die Arbeitsplatte aus cremefarbenem Silestone eingelassen. Die Position wurde dabei so gewählt, dass sich beide Fensterflügel an der Armatur vorbei öffnen lassen. Rechts läuft die Arbeitsplatte in ein offenes Fach für die dort angeschlossenen Küchengeräte hinein. So lassen sich diese für die Benutzung einfach nach vorn ziehen. Werden sie nicht gebraucht, kann das Fach mit einem Rollladen geschlossen werden. Auf der anderen Seite ist das Kochfeld mit integriertem Muldenlüfter untergebracht. Beleuchtet wird die Arbeitsfläche durch eingelassene LED-Leisten in den Oberschränken. Abgetrennt wird die Küche durch ein halbhohes Schrankelement mit einem eingebauten Weinkühlschrank an der Kopfseite. Es dient zugleich als Rückwand für die Eckbank am Essplatz. Seine Deckplatte aus Nussbaum nimmt die Optik des Bodens wieder auf.

В гостиной в обеденной зоне нам необходимо было организовать посадку для всех членов семьи, обеденная группа состоит из стола длиной 2.4 метра и восьми стульев. Чтобы композиция не выглядела массивно, мы использовали мебель с плавными формами, напоминающими природные. Обтекаемые линии стульев Calligaris в обивке цвета серой гальки гармонируют со светильниками Flamingo от Vibia, а керамическая поверхность столешницы перекликается с фактурой каменного шпона на стене.
