Bead board and chair rail was installed as a backdrop for the custom made storage benches and trestle table. The outside corners of the eating alcove are protected by corner posts topped with a ball finial. Toe kicks were built in the storage benches to allow even more room for feet. Soft blue island and the warm honey tones of these Serena & Lily counter stools perfectly complement the white perimeter cabinetry. The quartz countertop was brought up as a backsplash to complete the seamless look!

This property has all the luxury any family could wish for with a Home Cinema, Sauna, Gym and a self contained Guest Suite which includes its own fully equipped Kitchen. Our client had impeccable taste, and with our joint collaboration we were able to deliver a truely remarkable family home.

This young family wanted to update their kitchen and loved getting away to the coast. We tried to bring a little of the coast to their suburban Chicago home. The statement pantry doors with antique mirror add a wonderful element to the space. The large island gives the family a wonderful space to hang out, The custom "hutch' area is actual full of hidden outlets to allow for all of the electronics a place to charge. Warm brass details and the stunning tile complete the area.

This three-story Westhampton Beach home designed for family get-togethers features a large entry and open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen was gut-renovated to merge seamlessly with the living room. For worry-free entertaining and clean-up, we used lots of performance fabrics and refinished the existing hardwood floors with a custom greige stain. A palette of blues, creams, and grays, with a touch of yellow, is complemented by natural materials like wicker and wood. Inspired by Cape styles, this new Natick client desired an updated look with a better traffic pattern that was more open with smarter storage. By removing the peninsula, island seating reduced their sons fighting because now they weren’t competing for stools. They also fulfilled their dream of a coffee bar. The stove, backsplash and attractive hood are now a beautiful focal point from the family room view. They worked with our partner, Amany Design Studio, to select a clean, seamless look. This busy family now has a hidden command central and charging station. Custom-designed, pull-out shelving created organization and maximum storage within the new cabinets.

Spacious and open, this kitchen built in early 2000 got a complete overhaul and expanded island. All white shaker cabinets and light gray island provides room for this young family to grow.

For this knock down rebuild, in the established Canberra suburb of Yarralumla, the client's brief was modern Hampton style. The main finishes include Hardwood American Oak floors, shaker style joinery, patterned tiles and wall panelling, to create a classic, elegant and relaxed feel for this family home. This was a gut remodel of a 1950’s 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1200-square-foot home. The main house was composed of two bedrooms with one bathroom, and a separate studio unit with a full bathroom was located in the backyard. The new owners, a family of 4, wanted to remove the studio unit and increase the square footage of the main house to include a new master suite, family room, and powder room while leaving enough space for the possible addition of a pool in the backyard down the road. We also expanded the kitchen and remodeled the kids’ shared bathroom. White Sands advised during the architectural stage of the project to perfect the layout and ensure enough space was carved out for the new kitchen, family room, and master bedroom. We designed a modified galley kitchen with a large eat-in island in the center. Custom cabinetry was key in making the layout work. To provide ample storage, we created a European-style larder pantry, which is flanked by full-height glass hutches and appliance garages to keep countertop gadgets concealed. The family room is anchored by a new fireplace, complete with custom built-ins flanking each side. The client’s goal for the overall aesthetic is very simple, classic coastal cottage. They wanted cutesy charm. They did not want anything fussy or fancy, requesting selections to be pared down and approachable. All tile and counter finishes selected were in timeless shapes and color palettes. We brought in color and personality with the accessories- cabinet hardware, mirrors, wallcoverings, and styling accessories.
