A beautifully design ensuite bathroom with blue glazed herringbone tile extending from the shower wall into the dry area of the bathroom. A "wood" style tile is seen in the lit shower niche. A shower bench has been created with the same white wall tile seen on the opposing walls, and topped with the same tile as seen on the bathroom floor, creating a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing feel. The black floating vanity with wooden cut out adds a modern element to the entire room.

This 1600+ square foot basement was a diamond in the rough. We were tasked with keeping farmhouse elements in the design plan while implementing industrial elements. The client requested the space include a gym, ample seating and viewing area for movies, a full bar , banquette seating as well as area for their gaming tables - shuffleboard, pool table and ping pong. By shifting two support columns we were able to bury one in the powder room wall and implement two in the custom design of the bar. Custom finishes are provided throughout the space to complete this entertainers dream.

Contemporary Primary Bathroom Remodel in Bonita Springs, FL

Progressive Design Build

We gave this primary bathroom a stunning makeover with new cabinetry in a gorgeous multi-layer painted finish, complete with rollouts and extra storage. To create balance and beauty, we covered the soffits with the same material as the cabinetry. For a cozy vibe, we painted the upper portion of the room in a darker tone, adding warmth and character to the 14′ high ceilings. The makeover continued with new light-colored quartz countertops and 24″ x 48″ porcelain tiles, giving the space a modern touch. We stacked the tiles for a sleek, updated feel. The pièce de résistance? Behind the elegant Victoria and Albert 6′ free-standing tub, we installed an accent wall adorned with Agate Taiko opaque glass tile in the color ‘Lucca’, serving as the ‘jewelry’ of the room. This centerpiece was complemented with luxe gold plumbing fixtures and a beautiful matte gold finish chandelier above the tub. In the shower, we kept the same footprint but made some adjustments for functionality, moving the main shower head to the opposite wall and adding a handheld shower head on a slide bar.

A Total Transformation in Yardley

This transitional style bathroom design achieved a total transformation of the space in this Yardley, PA home. The result is a spacious, bright master bath design in a stylish warm color scheme. The vanity cabinet is a Koch and Company Classic Savannah15 door style in Java finish on birch, with a contrasting quartz countertop in Arctic white from MSI Surfaces. The vanity includes two rectangular sinks, Riobel single lever chrome faucets, and Top Knobs polished chrome hardware. A custom, large mirror sits over the vanity, along with Robern pendant lights in an Anodized Aluminum finish. An American Standard toilet sits neatly tucked behind a privacy wall. The large, thresholdless shower from Trending Accessibility is both practical and stylish, with a custom enclosure. It offers full accessibility as well as a quartz shower bench, Riobel showerheads, recessed storage niche, and 12 x 24 Flyzone Spa Stone Bianco wall tile. Accessories throughout the space include towel bars and rings along with robe hooks, all from the Richelieu Bridgeport line. The floor tile is a Polis It Rocks 12 x 24 running bond in coal, which neatly pulls together the warm color scheme in this space.

浴室リフォームのデザイン、レイアウト、費用

浴室リフォームの技法には大きく分けて「在来工法」と「ユニットバス (システムバス)」の2通りがあります。

在来工法：「在来工法」とは、壁、床、窓枠、浴槽などを実際の現場で左官、大工、タイル職人等が作り上げていく技法で、浴室の大きさや形に合わせて自由にレイアウトをデザインできたり、趣のあるタイルで壁を演出することができたりといった点が利点と言えます。昔ながらのこの技法には、費用が高い、工期が長い、年数が経つと水漏れの心配がある、などの注意点があります。
ユニットバス（システムバス）：比較的新しいこの技法は、予め工場で生産されたパーツ (壁、バスタブ、シャワーユニットなど) を現場で組み立てていく技法で、防水性、断熱性に優れ、工期を短縮できるだけでなく、費用も大幅に抑えることができます。在来工法と比べると、デザインやレイアウトの自由度が低い点が欠点としてあげられます。

浴室にプラスアルファでお風呂タイムをもっと楽しく

介護が必要な方には、浴室に浴槽手すりやシャワーチェア、すべり止めマットなどの安全グッズを使って、癒やしの時間を安全にゆっくりと楽しんでもらいましょう。浴室に床暖房を取り入れると、冬場のあのヒンヤリ感がなくなり、ヒートショックの防止に効果が期待できます。大粒のお湯が頭上から降り注ぐように全身を包み込むレインシャワー水栓は、効率的に身体を温めてくれます。また最近では、浴室テレビを装備して、あたたかいお湯に浸かりながらテレビ番組や映画を楽しむ方も増えています。ライフスタイルにあわせて、浴室をカスタマイズしてみてはいかがでしょうか？

ラクラク片付け、快適な浴室！

シャンプーやコンディショナーのボトルや、浴槽洗いのブラシは、ワイヤーラック、つっぱりコーナーラック、吸盤シェルフなど壁面収納グッズを活用して、浴室の使いやすい場所に設置しましょう。ボディスポンジなど、肌に触れるものはお掃除グッズから離れた場所に置き、しっかり水切りができるよう吸盤フックなどにかけるといいでしょう。また、浴室内には必要なアイテムだけをセレクトして置き、余分なモノは浴室外の脱衣所の棚に保管するなどの工夫も、お風呂場を清潔に保つコツです。風呂ふたも、フックやスタンド等を使って収納し、しっかり乾燥させれば、カビやぬめりの発生を防ぐことができます。

ホテルのようなバスルームをつくるコツ

ホテルライクなバスルームに誰しもが憧れたことがあるでしょう。すっきりとした収納、余計なものやプライベート感がない、トイレとバスが一緒の三点ユニットでも清潔感があるのがホテルのバスルームの特徴です。このようなシンプルな印象のバスルームにするコツは、収納をできるかぎり1カ所にまとめるということです。タオルや着替え、トイレットペーパーや洗剤など溢れがち (しかもバスルームに置きがち) な日用品のストックは、必要分だけをコンパクトに整理して、同素材や同系色の収納ボックスやラックにまとめることで、全体を統一感ある印象に見せます。ところで、このようなホテルライクなバスルームはアメリカのバスルームが元になっていますが、アメリカの Houzz サイトの特集記事 (Story) には、“Bathroom 1 1/2” や “Bathroom 3/4” などと表記されているものがあります。これは、バスルームを「バスタブ」、「シャワー」、「トイレ」、「洗面台」の4つ分けて、それぞれ 1/4 と考え、4つすべてある場合は ”Bathroom 1”、それに加えてトイレと洗面台がもう1カ所ずつある場合は “Bathroom 1 1/2”、シャワー、トイレ、洗面台だけでバスタブがない場合は “Bathroom 3/4” のように表現されます。
