Oftentimes homeowners come to us with an idea of how they want to update their space. Through thoughtful discussion and truly understanding their needs, we develop the perfect plan together. The previous bathroom was burdened with a large jacuzzi tub, an outdated fiberglass shower, and limited open floor space. Our approach started with a simple shower and bath update and evolved into a complete reimagining of the bathroom. We prioritized fluidity and functionality, repositioning plumbing and overhauling the floor plan to create a space that seamlessly marries practicality with design impact. The new bathroom features a custom knotty alder vanity with toe kick lighting and a sleek quartz countertop. Above, a defogging LED-lit mirror with touch screen controls adds a modern element to the bright and minimal bathroom aesthetic. The new custom shower blends sophistication with accessibility. Simple yet elegant porcelain fluted tiles and glass partitions frame the space, with a low-threshold entrance and strategically placed grab bars to support accessibility. Inside, a custom product niche with cove lighting adds both aesthetic appeal and functionality. In the end, the reimagined bathroom thoughtfully aligns the homeowner's lifestyle and design preferences.

We wanted to update the master bathroom to be a more modern and open layout. There were existing skylights that we wanted to utilize and brighten the space because it was dark, dated, and closed off, making the layout inefficient. The client also wanted to add a tub, which did not exist. We reconfigured the entire layout to allow for adding a freestanding tub. We accomplished this by designing the shower and tub area to create a wet room on one side of the space.

This Sarasota West of Trail coastal-inspired residence in Granada Park sold to a couple that were downsizing from a waterfront home on Siesta Key. Granada Park is located in the Granada neighborhood of Sarasota, with freestanding residences built in a townhome style, just down the street from the Field Club, of which they are members. The Buttonwood, like all the homes in the gated enclave of Granada Park, offer the leisure of a maintenance-free lifestyle. The Buttonwood has an expansive 3,342 sq. ft. and one of the highest walkability scores of any gated community in Sarasota. Walk/bike to nearby shopping and dining, or just a quick drive to Siesta Key Beach or downtown Sarasota. Custom-built by MGB Fine Custom Homes, this home blends traditional Florida architecture with the latest building innovations. High ceilings, wood floors, solid-core doors, solid-wood cabinetry, LED lighting, gourmet kitchen, wide hallways, large bedrooms and sumptuous baths clearly show a respect for quality construction meant to stand the test of time. Green certification by the Florida Green Building Coalition and an Emerald Certification (the highest rating given) by the National Green Building Standard ensure energy efficiency, healthy indoor air, enhanced comfort and reduced utility costs. Smart phone home connectivity provides controls for lighting, data communication, security and sound system. Gatherings large and small are pure pleasure in the outdoor great room on the second floor with grilling kitchen, fireplace and media connections for wall-mounted TV. Downstairs, the open living area combines the kitchen, dining room and great room. The private master retreat has two walk-in closets and en-suite bath with dual vanity and oversize curbless shower. Three additional bedrooms are on the second floor with en-suite baths, along with a library and morning bar. Other features include standing-height conditioned storage room in attic; impact-resistant, EnergyStar windows and doors; and the floor plan is elevator-ready.

A small bathroom is given a clean, bright, and contemporary look. Storage was key to this design, so we made sure to give our clients plenty of hidden space throughout the room. We installed a full-height linen closet which, thanks to the pull-out shelves, stays conveniently tucked away as well as vanity with U-shaped drawers, perfect for storing smaller items. The shower also provides our clients with storage opportunity, with two large shower niches - one with four built-in glass shelves. For a bit of sparkle and contrast to the all-white interior, we added a copper glass tile accent to the second niche. This sleek black and white bathroom got floor-to-ceiling tile walls, a curbless shower with a bench, a freestanding bathtub and all new finishes. The custom flat-panel rvanity includes a stunning quartz countertop and storage towers on either side of the double sinks. The stained wood tongue and groove ceiling adds warmth and beautifully frames the skylight.
