This project encompassed a great room addition attached to a new indoor pool via an operable door system making the two spaces come together as one. The indoor pool addition was a timber frame structure with exposed arched bottom chord glulam trusses. Nestled within the truss spacing is a large panel skylight on each side, this coupled with the floor the ceiling perimeter glass brought the outside in for a unique experience. The pool area includes two large accordion style doors opening to the exterior terrace allowing the Travertine flooring to transition seamlessly providing the perfect opportunity to open to enjoy the elements in nice weather. Fully integrated HVAC and de-humidification eliminate any potential condensation issues while providing comfortably conditioned spaces to enjoy.
