都市住宅の限られた側庭を、単なる通路や外構としてではなく、日常の中で自然の気配を感じられる風景として構想した。既存の砂利は山道の質感へと読み替え、石は地形の連なりのように据え、隣地の緑もまた風景の一部として取り込んでいる。

目に映る景だけでなく、土の中の環境にも丁寧に手を入れ、通気性や水の流れを整えることで、植物が健やかに根を張れる基盤を再構築している。

室内からは樹木の気配が立ち上がり、常緑の葉群が穏やかに視線を受け止めることで、カーテンに頼らない暮らしの落ち着きが生まれる。

歩く、眺める、佇む。日々の何気ない動作の中で、静かに自然と接続されていく空間 。

The narrow side yard of this urban home was envisioned not as a mere passage or exterior utility space, but as a landscape that brings a sense of nature into everyday life. The existing gravel is reinterpreted as the texture of a mountain path, while stones are placed to suggest a continuous terrain. Even the greenery from neighboring properties is embraced as part of the overall scenery.

Attention is given not only to what is visible, but also to the conditions beneath the soil. By carefully improving aeration and water flow, the ground is restructured to provide a healthy foundation where plants can take root and thrive.

From inside, the presence of trees gently emerges, and layers of evergreen foliage soften the line of sight, creating a calm living environment that does not rely on curtains.

Walking, observing, pausing—within these everyday actions, the space quietly reconnects life with nature.
