現地に残る自然石をすべて使い切り、過去の記憶を今の暮らしへと繋ぐ庭づくり。
そこにある素材を否定せず丁寧に向き合うことで、一日を終えて帰宅したときに心から安らげる「毎日帰りたくなる景色」を形にした。
勾配のある敷地条件を活かし、アプローチは大谷石による段差のない緩やかなスロープとすることで、日々の足取りに自然と寄り添う設えとした。
ウリン材を用いた縁側デッキは、腰を下ろせば木漏れ日の揺らぎを肌で感じられる、内と外を緩やかにつなぐ居場所となっている。
デッキとアプローチを結ぶのは、一石ずつ据え直した自然石の小道。
その先には、都心であることを忘れさせる落葉樹を主体とした雑木林の情景が広がる。外から新しい土を運び込むのではなく、その土地の土を活かし、植物が無理なく息づく環境を整えた。
五感で季節の移ろいを感じ、時を重ねるほどに愛着が深まっていくこの庭は、今、住まう人と共に静かに、そして健やかに育ち始めている。

Using only the natural stones found on site, this garden connects the past with the present, creating a landscape that feels calm and welcoming—one you want to return to each day.
A gentle, step-free ramp made of Oya stone follows the site’s slope, while an engawa-style deck of ulin wood offers a quiet place to sit and feel the shifting light and breeze.
A rustic stone path leads into a small woodland of deciduous trees, allowing the changing seasons to be experienced even in the heart of the city.
Shaped with the site’s own soil, the garden continues to grow naturally, deepening in character together with its residents.
