This fabulous basement level sitting room provides a refuge for my clients once the children are in bed. There's a cocktail bar and huge TV (not pictured) and beautifully upholstered comfortable spots to sit back & relax.
The walls are a sumptuous grasscloth with woodwork painted to match. A new oak parquet floor, some fabulous designer upholstery and a vintage Beni Ourain rug really bring the space together. We sourced a vintage lamp (on the desk) and a handful of silk ikat cushions to finish it off.
During the day the room acts as a home office so we built in plenty of storage for it to function efficiently as well as beautifully!
The sofa is a sofa bed and was part of the client brief to make this room usable as a guest bedroom for out of town guests.
This hardworking multi-tasking room suits my clients' fun sense of style and fulfils their brief to make it feel like a boutique hotel.
