We have had several homeowners contact us to replace their existing walnut wood floors. Unfortunately, many people choose a floor covering for its aesthetics and don't realize one particular species may not match their lifestyle. Our alternative: to sand, hand scrape, and refinish their damaged existing wood floor. This helps minimize traffic patterns and allow some of the damage to blend in with a "distressed" look. It's a "green" solution for a beautiful floor covering (we hate throwing away a perfectly good floor), and it suits a variety of looks, including rustic, traditional, country, contemporary, and eclectic.
