Signature Home 2005 Decor & Style Magazine

The owners wanted a home that was contemporary, yet soft and inviting. They hired San Diego designer Jim Walters to infuse their large spaces with warmth and intimacy.

Jim Walters designed the master bedroom as a tranquil cocoon, featuring several custom pieces. A platform bed with silk canopy, a floor-to-ceiling headboard, and two tiered nightstands emphasize clean lines and rich woods in stylish simplicity.

The home theatre offers designer Jim Walters’ custom oversized Asian-inspired cabinet that showcases a collection of glass and pottery, and also offers vast storage for state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.
