Thanks for writing about this project. I love a challenge when designing gardens - and with the sloped terrain and clay soil to contend with, this project definitely was a challenge! I am looking forward to reading what people think about this one.

Oh, and when we moved here 2 years ago there were zero plants and a rutted, compacted clay slope. Using Benjamin's guidance via all his Houzz articles (click on his name and you'll get to see/read all of them), I've made wildlife gardens and done conservation landscaping on about 1/2 my .6 acre lot. They are worth reading and re-reading several times -- I always find something new in them.

So glad you listed so many native plants in your list!! I just redid my front landscape with many of these!
