Nella ristrutturazione di una villa, la progettazione degli spazi interni è spesso sinonimo di stravolgimento totale degli ambienti, ma laddove ci sia già una struttura planimetrica non modificabile e dei vincoli architettonici preesistenti da rispettare, la sfida consiste nel trovare un giusto connubio tra la volontà di rinnovamento e il rispetto della configurazione esistente. La ricerca di un’armonia architettonica si plasma inevitabilmente nel rapporto cliente-architetto e costruire non è mai banalmente solo un disegno o una direzione lavori assidua, ma è il raggiungimento di un obiettivo comune che concilia esigenze, aspettative ed estro. L’approccio architettonico che si ha sin dall’ingresso della vila è volutamente graduale e morbido come il golden retriever “Mou” che accoglie gli ospiti con la stessa dolcezza della nota caramella. La filosofia progettuale è stata improntata nel creare una continuità visiva tra interno ed esterno attraverso l’uso di grandi lastre di gres effetto marmo dalle venature melange nella veranda, nel living, nei bagni ma anche di richiamo nei rivestimenti della piscina. La parete attrezzata del salone è stata pensata attraverso un gioco di sottrazioni di volumi che creano dei vani a giorno. Un senso di continuità visiva è dato anche dal gres effetto legno posato in tutti gli ambienti che accompagna l’ospite dal bordo piscina fin dentro la villa. La scelta predominate di due colori come il bianco e il nero, deriva dalla configurazione della cucina preesistente ad ante bianche e top nero che ha condizionato il colore di alcuni dettagli come le nicchie in legno laccato nero collocate nella parete attrezzata di cartongesso della cucina e del living: toni netti e decisi, eleganti e senza tempo, armoniosi nella diversità degli opposti che inevitabilmente si attraggono.

In the renovation of a villa, the design of the interior spaces is often synonymous of total regeneration of the rooms, but when there is already an unmodifiable planimetric structure and pre-existing architectural constraints to be respected, the challenge is to find the right combination of the desire for renewal and respect for the existing configuration. The search for architectural harmony inevitably takes shape in the customer-architect relationship and building is never a simply design or an assiduous work direction, but it is the achievement of a common goal that reconciles needs, expectations and inspiration. The architectural approach since the entrance of the vila is deliberately gradual and soft like the golden retriever “Mou” that welcomes guests with the same sweetness of the famous candy. The design philosophy is based on creating a visual continuity between inside and outside through the use of large slabs of marble-effect stoneware with melange veins in the veranda, in the living room, in the bathrooms but also in the swimming pool coverings. The equipped wall of the lounge has been designed through a game of subtraction of volumes that create open compartments. A sense of visual continuity is also given by the wood-effect stoneware laid in all rooms that accompanies the guest from the poolside to the inside of the villa. The predominant choice of two colors, such as white and black, derives from the configuration of the existing kitchen with white doors and black top which influenced the color of some details such as the black lacquered wooden niches placed in the plasterboard wall of the kitchen and of the living room: clean and decisive tones, elegant and timeless, harmonious in the diversity of opposites that inevitably attract each other.
