We went to my in-laws to see them after their return and as we were walking there, the rain started pouring:)) Good thing it's a short walk and they had umbrellas for us to return:) Tomorrow we will have some cake. I still have to assemble it. I finished the cream and it has to stay in the fridge for an hour or so..better be good:)

That sounds lovely that you squirt all that furniture this year Tiffany so that was a good part of the year for you I know it's been a bad year for a lot of people including me we got some issues over here but we got our electric problem fixed working on plugging him along on doing the vehicles especially his truck right now but I hope my car if he doesn't get it done before December it makes it to my December appointment I do have a few appointments this month and then I have one appointment for somebody else I have to drive to take them in November so all these issues are hitting the pocketbook I hope all this is getting done I had my thumb going over toward the speaker almost okay and then there seems like there's a by the bottom of the toilet base in the back outside of the toilet there's a hole I see through I don't know if o h took off something off of it I never noticed that before there was a cover on it before and I don't know why I suddenly noticed it now again and then it wasn't there so I'm going to have to ask him I wrote a note down so I asked him this cuz I'm too forgetful at the moment God along things bothering my mind right now keeping some appointments straight and there's a phone call appointment today at 3:00 I'm glad you're doing okay

tiffany, I am glad to hear that you found someone who can take care of the landscape there..it's not easy. Taking care of two homes is not easy. I am not a fan of all of these smart appliances..I am not looking forward to having no choice other than smart appliances. So far everything works, but I know that time will come

Hi dsimber, I was just reading a holiday thread on houzz and thought of you. One poster mentioned she has two Christmas trees-her main one and another one that is for her grandaughter with ornaments that they have made together through the year. Maybe a thought for the future.

It’s good to live with animals again…I have been without, for almost a year. This adoption was a friend of friend of friend connection…very Nova Scotia; everyone is only two or three steps removed from someone they know. They are indoor cats, which I have never had, but cats are being taken frequently here now, by the increasing wildlife. It’s a different relationship having them inside all the time. I wish they got along better…the concept was they would be company for each other. Well…so far, not the case. Violet thinks I am hers. Ollie is left out. She is possessive of my attention. Hopefully as her anxiety reduces, she will relax that some.

I found a way to get “happy” light into the kitchen/great room throughout this Fall. The little tree is from Amazon ($16) and I found the cookie jar for $15 at HomeGoods. I’ll leave the teddy bear there until we’re closer to Thanksgiving and then I’ll bring out the Indian Lady and Puritan Lady figurines that I love for that holiday season. I like having that little bit of light on the counter throughout the Fall season. I usually have a lit Christmas tree there after Thanksgiving and maybe I’ll have to see if Amazon has a “Springtime” tree. 😊
