Fiss nailed it. In-laws built in 1979 and their place would fit right in.

Gulp,, I have the same dining room table as the one with the ugly wallpaper. And a similar buffet, without the top hutch part.

I am really digging that orange chair/ottoman and the HOPE pillow. I grew up with a needlepoint throw pillow my mom did with the LOVE ala Robert Indiana. She probably got the pattern at the Chicago Art Institute shop...

Wish I still had that thing.

I found this online. Maybe I need this one even more? It's already made into a pillow too! LOL

Dang it. They're sold out.

By the way, please don’t save photos that I post in MY idea books that have personal pictures of people in them… Most of you know that, but from time to time I’ve seen things from my idea book copied…before I get a chance to delete it… and then I don’t have any control of what happens to the image. Probably not a problem here, but I’m not comfortable with images of people I know, just kicking around out there online, indefinitely.

Lia I’ve heard of these cat feeding bowls that keep the cats from eating too much. But I never really looked into it. I was thinking it was the shallowness or trying to think of a better way to say it. Like when the food gets low in there, it’s got the setting of the bottom of the bowl and my cats like for me to reach in and pile it up again, if that makes sense. Like they can’t grab it as well if it’s not piled up. But I looked it up and it’s showing bowls like this, but they are more expensive than I wish to pay. One thing I did around here is make sure and and buy only indoor and or senior dry cat food because it has less calories. Canned catfood and anything with gravy is very high calorie, and I think it’s higher in sodium, but I would have to look that up. I know that they like their canned food but I stopped giving it for several reasons, one it was too expensive and I think their teeth do better with just a dry food. And it was costing me too much to give everybody canned food plus I would be attacked and it was crazy when I opened the can LOL. Besides a weight problem for indoor cats. They will look at you like they are being mistreated when all they get is the dry food, but I believe they will eat when they get hungry. I change out their food occasionally just to give them a choice between say chicken or salmon but I stay in the same brand of cat food so I don’t have to make a slow transition for their tummies. In fact, I keep bowls of both kinds sitting around between the salmon and the chicken, so they can switch back-and-forth or get which one they want. At first I worried about the outdoor cats not getting canned food in the heat of the summer because I know that keeps them more hydrated, but really keeping fresh water out there is the way I went and with our summer heat, everyone seemed to do fine if they had a shady or cool spot to go. My two senior cats at almost 20 years old, I do give the crunchy treats on and off and they are high in calorie but I think they need the calories even though the treats are not as healthy as the kibble. I guess at their age as long as they eat something. Another thing I thought of, it seems like when I was feeding the cats the canned food they would always become less interested in one so quickly and seemed like they wanted a different one? Like it was driving me crazy trying to satisfy their taste buds?

You know what? I remember that toy. The pieces were like soft plastic, not squishy but air filled.
