Another reason to not clean up the garden so much is the fallen leaves make great mulch next year. Clean and overly tidy is not the healthyest in the garden.

No drawers behind doors for me. Especially a 2 door cabinet with wide drawers behind. You need 2 hands to get to them. Too much ext fiddly stuff

Drawers and pullouts do not work with large roasters and canning kettles. I requested 2 double wide base cabinets without center dividers. Large bowls, water-bath canning kettles, cast aluminum roaster that holds an 18# turkey, etc, all fit. Small seldom used items such as meat grinder attachments fit in the spaces left by the round corners of all the kettles.

I am an old lady who still knows how to harvest, preserve and prepare food. My children do the same and the grandchildren are learning.

Money is tight and the less we buy at the grocery store the less stress we experience. This month is tomatoes and tomato sauce from the farm markets end of season sales.
