A good reminder to set up our heated bird bath. Not many bees are active here in Toronto over the winter so it's more about leaving leaves and messy spaces for hibernation and shelter. I dont' cut back old plants and we have shrubs for the birds, and boy, the birds love the heated bird bath. I'd like to see a similar article focusing on native plants.
