Atelier Lim and Tan were the designers for two stages of the fit out of office space for Principle Partners. They assisted in identifying the space for lease, dealing with some existing acoustic issues with the neighbours, then design, documentation, construction supervision and procurement of furniture and fittings.
Our office is in an early 20 th century ‘shop-house’ building in Singapore’s Chinatown. ALT’s design was sensitive to the style of the existing building and clever in its use of demountable items rather than a lot of built in structures.
As a head-hunting firm with many hedge fund and private equity clients we required a
sophisticated ‘look’ for the office and ALT delivered a well-tailored, urbane space that is
welcoming to guests and productive for employees.
ALT were great to work with, being knowledgeable and resourceful. They helped guide us through an unfamiliar process to a successful outcome. Karen and Fiona’s experience is in larger and more complex buildings than ours, but they nonetheless applied all their skill and attention to our project.
I happily recommend Atelier Lim and Tan for architecture or interior design services, and look forward to working with them again on our next move.
