We love the shutters and blinds we ordered from her, especially the custom shutters for a big arch window in our family room (see photo). We reached out to a few companies when we were searching for shutters and blinds, but Gladys was the most responsive. She also took a lot of time to explain options to us and was very patient when I changed my mind and had to add to the order. The installation crew (Jeff and Jessie) are really nice guys too!”

“I had Jeff Johnson come to my home to give us an estimate on a closet that I wanted to turn into a pantry/office closet. He was on time for the appointment and was very pleasant and knowledgeable during the consultation. He listened to all of my needs and concerns and had options for me to choose from. He was able to do a 3-D rendering on his laptop so I could tell what the closet would look like. Other companies are still just drawing the design out on a sketch pad. He represented Bay Home and Window very well and I would highly recommend him. I have chosen not to purchase at this time because of some remodeling we are doing, but will definitely call him when we are ready.”

I was so impressed with the high level of personal customer service and attention to detail that I hired him again when we bought a new home in Orinda in 2016. He is the epitome of professional and customer-focused. He will listen to what you want and need and take into consideration your unique home and won't try to upsell you - he'll just bring in the samples that fit your needs and is an expert on all of the products he carries. When a cord broke on one of our Oakland blinds about 9 months after installation I called him and he had the whole 7' wide blind replaced within two weeks. And when our blinds arrived much earlier than he quoted for our Orinda home, he came that day to install them himself because his installer was booked and he knew we needed them to help our young children sleep (early bedtimes and long summer days make for a tough time getting babies and toddlers to sleep).
