“Before moving into our new home, we wanted to replace the flooring in the living room, dining room and kitchen, changing the style from a rustic, country look to a clean, modern design. We were also on a tight timeline, because we had already scheduled the movers. And we are picky about design, so it was not an easy task we set for ourselves. We found Interiors and Textiles by searching online for anywhere local that carried a certain brand of flooring. Then we stopped by for a look at all types of flooring -- carpet, vinyl, wood -- wanting something with a designer look. We found the sales team to be very helpful, not at all pushy, and sympathetic to our tastes and time constraints. And we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of wood flooring, and changed our design plan as a result. Interiors and Textiles was able to install the flooring within our timeline. They started just a few days after our purchase, by removing the old imported Italian tile flooring. Then by our move-in date, they had the new floor ready for us to move in, and stopped back a few days later to make sure we were happy and to add the final finishing touches, like the trim. Overall, we were very happy with the product selection, the sales team, the service, the installers and the results. We were able to get flooring that you couldn't find at a big box store or a discount warehouse, and to get it installed quickly. We will stop by again for our next remodeling project.”

“Gladys is a true professional and is the perfect example of great customer service! We love the shutters and blinds we ordered from her, especially the custom shutters for a big arch window in our family room (see photo). We reached out to a few companies when we were searching for shutters and blinds, but Gladys was the most responsive. She also took a lot of time to explain options to us and was very patient when I changed my mind and had to add to the order. The installation crew (Jeff and Jessie) are really nice guys too!”

After estimates and suggestions from several businesses, I narrowed it down to two; both good but Lisa with JLS proved to be exceptional. She, Deborah and another colleague were patient and had wonderful ideas and suggestions. Lisa must have been to my home four to five times as we narrowed down the choices. She even accepted delivery when I had to go out of town. My window treatments were installed by the JLS installer, Jorge and his crew, and I am thrilled with the results. “I had Jeff Johnson come to my home to give us an estimate on a closet that I wanted to turn into a pantry/office closet. He was on time for the appointment and was very pleasant and knowledgeable during the consultation. He listened to all of my needs and concerns and had options for me to choose from. He was able to do a 3-D rendering on his laptop so I could tell what the closet would look like. Other companies are still just drawing the design out on a sketch pad. He represented Bay Home and Window very well and I would highly recommend him. I have chosen not to purchase at this time because of some remodeling we are doing, but will definitely call him when we are ready.”

“Great solutions to our sunny side of the house issues we had with the rolling shutters. Made 3 rooms that would become very warm all afternoon, extremely comfortable and usable again! Now we also have an "outdoor living room" thanks to our beautiful retractable awning. The striped fabric we chose looks great against the paint color of the house. Excellent service and products all with German parts and made locally here in San Jose, we really are very happy with our choices! Great company to work with.”

“Christine is the best. Chose her after an extensive search and comparison of 5 bids for the blinds and drapes for my wife's hair styling salon. Christine showed up right on time for the estimate, made the measurements and then took us through all the options. She listened carefully to what look we were trying to achieve and then gave us some great advice. We should have listened to her the first time. The installation went great and was done on time, right when Christine said it would be. However, the window blinds that we chose, instead of taking Christine's advice, just didn't achieve the look we were going for. I called Christine and told her we should have taken her original advice. She went to work immediately with the manufacturer and worked out an exchange so the manufacturer reused all the hardware from the original blinds and only charged for the new blind fabric. The second installation went just as well as the first. We love the look. Thank you, Christine!”
