“I recently moved house, to a new area I am not familiar with, and wanted some help with window furnishings. Closs & Hamblin contacted by phone initially and asked me about my project, they arranged for a lady to come out to measure, and bring a variety of fabric samples. Julie was really helpful, and spent time listening to my ideas, then measured the windows, and advised on both poles and curtain headings. She then helped me choose the right fabric to go with my sofa, and talked through how the order would be made and fitted. I was then sent a quote, which I accepted. The curtains were hand made and delivered by a fitter, who installed the poles, and hung the curtains - again a seamless process. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, they were really friendly, listened to my requirements, kept me informed all the way through my order and delivered everything on time.”

“I recently asked Lisa at Pretty Swish if she could make me some blinds or curtains for my downstairs hall, stairs and study. I have no idea of interior style and my husband had disliked every fabric I had looked at before talking to Lisa! Plus, We have a small barn conversion that has wonky windows, ceilings and floors and is quite dark inside. “Mel is fab. She has helped us update most of the rooms in the house, making curtains and blinds for many and advising on colours and styles as well as re up holstering chairs and stools. She has an easy approach, comes to your house and has great taste. No pressure from her though, making the whole experience a very pleasant one. She measures up and then comes and hangs the curtains, erecting poles and pelmets where required so the whole process is stress free.”
