“I have hired Mike for numerous projects. From Bathroom tile, kitchen floor, carpentry, and rebuilding my shed that was about to collapse. Mike has done fantastic work on every project. However, the best part of working with Mike is his honesty and integrity. If he says he will be there, you can count on it. On a few occassions he has even offered cheaper alternatives due to his experience because he understands the value of his name. The best review I can leave is that I have recommended him to numerous friends and family who have hired him and I always get positive feedback from them. There are no negatives with hiring Mike. He pays attention to detail and to making sure the finished product matches your desires.”

“I hired Montes to install granite countertops for my new kitchen, and they did a fabulous job, especially on the 2-tier island with backsplash which was very tricky. I worked with Andrea, who helped me narrow down the granite choices to one that worked with my floor and cabinets, and she called frequently to make sure I was happy. She even special ordered a high end sink and faucet on my behalf, to help save me money. Now that's service! For installation, you can't beat Montes. The granite was matched beautifully and you can't even see a seam anywhere. The workers were patient, thorough and didn't leave until the job was completed to perfection. I LOVE my new countertops. タイルや石材の貼り方


タイル貼りや石材を貼るのは、一見すると簡単そうに見えるかもしれませんが、きれいにきちんと貼るには熟練の技が必要です。タイル工事を自分で行う場合は、コテをはじめとする専用の工具・道具を使用した方が、総じてきれいな仕上がりにつながります。タイル切断の専用道具もあると便利です。

一般的な内装タイルの貼り方は、まず接着剤を塗り広げ、その上にタイルを乗せて圧着していき、最後に目地を塗りこんで完成です。外装タイルの場合は、下地の作成後に基準となるタイルを貼り、モルタル塗布後に実際にタイルを貼ったら、目地を詰めて完成です。
