“George, the owner is professional & knowledgeable in his craft. His employees are talented, punctual & courteous. I am a RE investor & have done several rehab projects. I worked with many other companies before a friend referred me to Creative Marble & Tile. Since hiring them (for the 1st time) over 2 years ago, I will not work with anyone else on my property rehabs. He just finished 2 properties of mine in the last 45 days. “Granite Transformations proved to me that even the builder basic kitchen in my starter home can look amazing...and they did it in just 6 hours! The hardest part was deciding between their huge selection of Trend Stone and Trend Glass countertops. With the help of their designer, I finally settled on a bold recycled glass pattern that really gives the existing cabinets a much more modern look that flows with the rest of my home. It looks like small, sparkly pieces of beer and wine bottle glass in the countertops; nothing like any of the countertops I've seen in friends' homes. I actually want to spend time in the kitchen now! Installation day was a breeze, and the design team and installation crew couldn't have been nicer, neater, or more thorough. It was a painless renovation process. I highly recommend Granite Transformations for any kitchen or bath renovation project, big or small. Can't wait to get started on the bathroom project next!”

タイルや石材の貼り方


タイル貼りや石材を貼るのは、一見すると簡単そうに見えるかもしれませんが、きれいにきちんと貼るには熟練の技が必要です。タイル工事を自分で行う場合は、コテをはじめとする専用の工具・道具を使用した方が、総じてきれいな仕上がりにつながります。タイル切断の専用道具もあると便利です。

一般的な内装タイルの貼り方は、まず接着剤を塗り広げ、その上にタイルを乗せて圧着していき、最後に目地を塗りこんで完成です。外装タイルの場合は、下地の作成後に基準となるタイルを貼り、モルタル塗布後に実際にタイルを貼ったら、目地を詰めて完成です。
