“Nick and his company, Morningstar Stone and Tile have been my "go to" source for stone for several years. The recent addition of tile to their offerings has been a great help and time saver for me and my clients. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable. Morningstar's attention to detail regarding fabrication and installation is superior. As far as I'm concerned, there is no reason to shop anywhere else!”

“We chose Devine Marble and Granite for our new home's kitchen countertop and bathroom vanities. These people went above and beyond our expectations. They were the only company who offered to ship the large granite slabs to their building for us to see with no obligation. Another company wanted us to drive to Mass. to see some slabs and another told us to drive to Bangor. Their workmanship is outstanding. They did a fabulous job with seams and matching patterns. They are local, very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend them.”

タイルや石材の貼り方


タイル貼りや石材を貼るのは、一見すると簡単そうに見えるかもしれませんが、きれいにきちんと貼るには熟練の技が必要です。タイル工事を自分で行う場合は、コテをはじめとする専用の工具・道具を使用した方が、総じてきれいな仕上がりにつながります。タイル切断の専用道具もあると便利です。

一般的な内装タイルの貼り方は、まず接着剤を塗り広げ、その上にタイルを乗せて圧着していき、最後に目地を塗りこんで完成です。外装タイルの場合は、下地の作成後に基準となるタイルを貼り、モルタル塗布後に実際にタイルを貼ったら、目地を詰めて完成です。
