“I had a great experience working with Martín and his son Martin! Both of them made the construction process very easy and I and extremely happy with the stone work that was installed at my home. I first got an estimate for the work from Martin Jr. He helped me with the design process and helped me select a stone for my home. He brought to my home over 5 samples of flagstone and ledgerstone from Resource Building Materials. Once I chose the stone, Martin Sr (Owner of Pacificland) came over with his crew and installed the beautiful stone work himself. The job came out great and I am glad I chose them for my remodeling project.”

“Jim Roberts was our contact with Black Diamond for our project which consisted of (1)replacing a poured concrete front walkway that had two steps with pavers on an incline with no steps (this avoids people tripping on the steps at night) ; (2) creating a parking space next to the driveway with pavers; and (3) creating extra patio space using pavers around the back yard pool out of a grass area. Jim provided a nice presentation and competitive estimate and provided valuable creative input that steered us towards good choices of pavers and a great outcome. I was very nervous about the second part of the project (see above) because virtually all of our house utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable, water line and drain line) all were directly through the area to be paved. Also, two massive tree root systems running through the area had to be hand removed due to being directly over the utilities. Jim and Black Diamond served up a truly outstanding crew that pulled it off without cutting any of the utility lines. Jim had good follow through and represented his company professionally and he would be our first call should we need paver services again. Abe suggested numerous options across a range of price-points to compliment the look of our Tudor style home. We chose an arched arbor gate which SG built custom. They worked efficiently, kept the worksite clean throughout, and came within our budget and timeline. We couldn’t be happier with our new fence, and charm it adds to our home!”

“These guys did a fabulous job from the beginning to the end: helping us to select our slabs, keeping our slabs safe while our house was remodeled, taking measurements at our house, creating templates and "templating" the stone based on our input. They were absolute perfectionists trying to get the best out of our slabs. When we realized that we do not have enough stone (we added a waterfall bar in the process), they found a small piece matching our slab. The installation went very smoothly and the guys worked really hard, especially Carlos. He is a real pro. The stone looks amazing thanks to Carlos skills of taking care every detail no matter how small it is.
