“We recently moved to an updated home in an older neighborhood with a small, tired side-yard. We needed a transformation; what we got was a miracle. We consulted with a landscape architect who helped with the design. She recommended we hire Rooted Craftsmen, LLC to do the work, primarily because we needed an experienced stone mason who was capable of making the new construction match the unique finishes on the outside of the home. Rooted Craftsmen did everything: they completely removed all of the old landscaping, leveled the yard and rebuilt from the ground up, including sprinklers, lighting and electric distribution, gas lines, planting beds, sod, etc. The owner, David Garcia, isn’t just a contractor – he’s truly a craftsman. He planned carefully, had a great eye for detail, made many recommendations on how we could tweak the design and function of the yard and ultimately constructed the improvements with a degree of quality and care that made us feel like he was doing the kind of work he would do at his own home. The end result was a fabulous stone bench, fire pit and outdoor kitchen that is the envy of the neighborhood.
