“I would highly recommend Royal hardwood refinishing to do your floors. We just had porcelain tile laid in the front Breezeway as well as the kitchen and then we had hardwood laid in our family room dining room and bedroom. They were professional, hard-working, and on time.. every time. The quality of work and detail put into the finished product was seamless. My husband and I are both so happy with the choice that we made and would definitely use their services again and recommend them to our friends and family”

“We dealt wih Mark Gurski who was very professional and skilled and extremely helpful. He had many great ideas to offer us when we overwhelmed but always listened to ensure he gave us exactly what we were looking for - even when we weren't sure what it was ourselves. We feel he went above and beyond to help us and created an esthetically gorgeous and functional kitchen for us in additin to all bathroom cabinetry and built in closets. Truly a one stop shopping experience! We would recommend him in a heartbeat and infact have already referred him to friends. Mark was either early or met the deadlines and came in within our budget. A big thank you to Mark and his crew! I know we will enjoy our kitchen for many years.”

“Jim responded promptly to every enquiry. When he came to the property to measure, he found that the cabinets over the fridge were torn down due to the height of the newer fridge. With his professional opinion, it would be much better to have the cabinets rebuilt and installed for the purpose of selling the property. Without changing the quoted price, Jim offered to rebuild the over fridge cabinets. When the job finished, everything looked perfect and the kitchen looked more completed with the new doors and the new section added over the fridge. Jim always considered the best interest for the clients. Jim is helpful, considerate and professional with high quality material used.”

“We really enjoyed working with Aaron and Justin of Home Guru Inc. on our kitchen renovation and are thrilled with the results! They helped us to make our space more open, modern and functional. They listened to what we wanted and helped us work out the details of how to get there. As with any renovation, especially one where you are opening up and taking down walls, there were some surprises and setbacks, but Aaron and Justin worked diligently to help us attain our goals and try to stay within our budget. The thing we appreciated most about Home Guru was that we felt they were trustworthy and were always trying to do things in our best interest. We were never worried that they were trying to rip us off, cut corners, or give us the run around. They were reachable and easy to communicate with. One of their areas of expertise is in "smart" home automation, which we decided to incorporate into our reno. We adore the programmed lighting that adds to the mood of our space. Our favourite elements would be the in-ceiling speakers that we've added to the kitchen, living room, bedroom and backyard. We can now play or stream music all over house depending on our location and mood. Music is a big part of our lives and has become a part of our children's lives as well. Our new open-concept kitchen has improved the flow of our house and the overall feeling of the space. The kitchen looks beautiful and the cabinets and countertops are of high quality. “Naz and the entire team at Public Plumbing did an exceptional job with our small bathroom renovation. From the beginning Naz was an excellent communicator (one of the reasons we chose them ). The project was completed on time and on budget. We were highly appreciative that Naz never tried to "up sell" us and in fact talked us out of some ideas that would have put us over budget and been of little value in the long run. We are so pleased with the final result and will not hesitate to refer our friends and family . We are highly impressed with the tidy work site they left everyday; very professional. “Three different renovated kitchens, three different homes in Toronto’s Annex, the escarpment in Stoney Creek and now downtown in renewed Hamilton. All have one thing in common - the deft touch of Biljana McDowell. Cooking a gourmet meal has never been easier with Biljana’s smart practical layout and design. Silent drawers that are sized so Marta and I can fit a complete set of 11 pots into a single drawer, all the bottles of oil and vinegar fitting neatly into another easy to pullout drawer, and plenty of space for everything from groceries to the “good” Mexican dishes. At small family dinners or large parties everyone gathers in the kitchen. As we planned the kitchen is the focal point of the house and entertaining. Adding to economy of scale is superb workmanship that has stood the test of time and my occasional abuse. Unlike some designers Biljana actually listens to what you want and delivers your own dream not a copy of some trendy kitchen in a glossy. Add design genius, fun, warm, creative, practical, detailed, great to work with. Did I say cost-conscious? I would hire Biljana a fourth time except my wife would kill me if we ever move again. “We came to Mark with a need to re-design our laundry room into a configuration to include a mud room with accessibility and safety being the priority. Given the space was oddly laid out and space limited, it took some creativity. Also, we needed to modify our powder room bathroom and 1 upstairs bathroom to suit the special needs person however keeping home integrity. Tall order. Mark and company delivered incredible results! We cannot review them high enough. The contractors used were professional and friendly. Rob, the main tradesman, is an artist in his work. Mark managed the project skillfully and timely. For families looking to invest in their homes for bang on results, look no further. We found this company on homestars and opted to believe in others reviews. So grateful we did!
