“I contracted Howard at Coastal Maine Remodelers to renovate my kitchen. I found Howard to be very honest and direct. The estimate was all-inclusive and left nothing to surprise. He respectfully offered suggestions, yet met me where I was coming from and made sure that he was meeting my expectations throughout the project. He built new kitchen cabinets, replaced the doors and drawer fronts on existing cabinets and created amazing, original open shelving. All of the work was beautifully and professionally done. It is very apparent that Howard and his team take great pride in the quality of their work. The kitchen was cleaned every day and the renovation stayed right on schedule. I really appreciated Howard’s honesty and integrity throughout; his work and communication made me comfortable and confident in my decision to work with him. “We are delighted with our choice of cabinets purchased from Cabinetry Concepts for our “Forever Home” on Little Sebago Lake. Our choices, based on my disability, and Eileen’s suggestions for my accessible issues for our kitchen were drawers for our pots and pans, a pullout recycling cabinet for our returnables and trash, a slide out (2) drawer unit, and Super Susan for the corner unit. The crown molding, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and the decorative hardware pulls it all together.”

“Universal Home Renovations remodeled our backyard a few months ago and did an exceptional job. The owner, Richard, was responsive from the first phone call, and remained so through the build and post build process. During our initial meeting, he took the time to really discussed our design plans, offered logistical and design feedback and helped us make the most of our somewhat limited budget.Being that we had to be out of town some of the time made us a little nervous on the finished product even though our project was small compared to some of his designs, he really made us feel as though he valued our business and wanted us to have a backyard we'd be thrilled with. Once construction began (ahead of schedule), Richard introduced us to the foreman for each crew and checked in regularly to make sure we were happy with the progress and didn't have any questions. His men were all very friendly and welcomed our questions as well. The one instance where a portion of the project was delayed from Richard’s project was delayed from Richard's projected time schedule, he was quick to respond to our inquiry and explained the situation that had caused the delay. They still finished the project much faster than we had initially expected. The finished product is truly beautiful. We have a new composite deck, and paver patio that have completely transformed our backyard and our ability to use the space. After our final walk-through, during which Richard took the time to make sure we understand how to maintain the space, he has remained accessible for additional questions we have had. Overall working with Universal Home Renovations, and its owner,Richard was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this business without reserve.”
