“We recently redecorated the living room and dining area of our home in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Julian’s patiently worked with us in choosing our fabrics and paint colors and the furniture placement. We gave her a general idea of what we wanted, and when we arrived for our appointment she had a wonderful assortment of fabrics and paint chips gathered together for us to see. She helped us with the final selections and was a source of many wonderful, creative ideas that we would never have thought of on our own. We had a short time-frame that we had to work in and Julian saw to it that everything was done right on time! Working with her was a pleasure and we are delighted with our new rooms! “We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Delphinium Design for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. Jena was with us from day one, helping us with the tough decisions and ensuring that our vision was achieved. The contractors she recommended were very professional and did top-notch work, and through it all, Jena was there to coordinate and oversee their progress. We trusted Jena and knew no matter what she was on our side and had our best intentions. She was so much more than our designer. Living through a home renovation definitely has its challenges but we have heard horror stories and we didn't experience any of those. We think that is largely due to Jena and her management of the entire project. We finished on time and under budget; things we didn't think would be possible. We love showing off our newly-improved home, and we've been letting everyone know we have Delphinium Design to thank for it!”

“After meeting with several interior designers my wife and I knew as soon as we met Jane that she was the one:) Jane got to know us a little and based on our personalities she was able to design our family room to suite our family. Jane's professionalism and knowledge about color, patterns, texture, furniture, etc. were amazing. She worked within the budget we gave her and even saved us hundreds of dollars. “Amy was the interior designer for an extremely complex custom, new home that my company built in Upper Arlington, Ohio. She did a fantastic job. The home turned out great due to all of her tireless effort and tasteful insights. She worked skillfully with all of the trades as well as with outside suppliers for such complex features as a custom-built range hood and spiral staircase railing. Everyone who has viewed the home has raved about her selections. As a builder, she was an extraordinarily valuable partner for this project. We were fortunate that she was an integral part of it.”

“I hired Vision by Nicole, LLC to undertake an extensive design/remodeling project in our mountain house located in AveryCounty, N.C. The included the entire main living area (kitchen, laundry, dining, living, bathroom and bedroom), plus the stairs, and the upstairs master bedroom & bathroom. Founder & CEO Nicole Blackon was hands-on throughout the entire project. Her designs and plans plans were exactly in accord with what we were trying to accomplish. On points where we disagreed, in the end we learned that she was always right in knowing what would and wouldn't work. Her projecrt oversight was intense. She was immediately all-over any problems that came up. Her selection of materials was impeccable, and she was meticulous down to the tiniest detail in project completion. We are completely satisfied, and have resolved to use Vision by Nicole, LLC exclusively for any future projects.”

“We hired You Faux Girl! to do a finish for our master bedroom. We were thrilled with the entire process, from start to finish. Summer communicates well, has a great eye for design (we had no idea what kind of finish we wanted, and she made great suggestions and provided personalized samples), and did an amazing job with the actual finish. インテリアコーディネートの料金は、1部屋あたり5000円～5万円とさまざまです。部屋の面積が広い高級邸宅の場合は10万円以上になることもあります。料金の設定は、提案内容の合計金額から割合で算定する場合、部屋数や面積に応じて算定する場合があります。または、打ち合わせ、インテリア用品の選定とその配置プランの作成（コーディネート料）、ショールームへの同行、選定された商品の代金および施工費用などを積み上げて算出する場合もあります。 なお、家具店の中には、その家具屋でインテリア用品を調達することを前提として、無料でコーディネートを行っているところもあります。
インテリアデザイナーと建築士との違いは、建築基準法などの建築に関わる法令で定められた基準を守りながら建築の意匠設計を行うことができるのが建築士であるのに対し、各種法令に反しない範囲で建築の意匠設計の一部である“インテリアデザインのみ”を担当するのがインテリアデザイナーです。そのため、建築士の職能の一部を補助する役割としてインテリアデザイナーが位置づけられることもあります。大学や専門学校でデザインについて学んだ後、家具メーカーや建築会社などで実務経験を積むのが一般的で、インテリアデザイナーを名乗るのに特別な資格は特に必要ありませんが、実際の施工まで手がけられるよう、インテリア設計士資格や建築士免許を取得する人も多いです。
