Not only does she have an amazing eye for design detail, but she worked extremely well with our subcontractors making sure our remodel timeline and expectations were met. We did a full kitchen renovation and Kirsten was instrumental in helping us choose everything from the hardwood floors to the cabinet hardware. “I hired Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors to create a new look for our den. We needed new furnishings, accessories, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. We are a family of four and we needed a timeless space to relax after busy work and school days. To my surprise the project turned out better than expected. They provided the electrician to come and replace my old hanging chandelier. The painters were on time and clean. We hired her almost immediately when we purchased our very outdated new home, and she helped us transform it into a modern dwelling with use of paint colors, light fixtures, and accessories that was exactly what we were looking for. I should also mention she helped stage our former home as it was up for sale, and it improved the home’s appearance by leaps and bounds!”

“After seeing some of Jeanine's model units at silo point, we knew we wanted to hire her. She has done two projects for us. For one project, she determined appropriate finishes for a completely gutted condo unit that had nothing in it but walls. She found beautiful kitchen cabinets, wood floors, tile for the bathroom floors and shower, vanities, granite, faucets, lighting, sprial stair case options, among several other things. The place turned out beautifully. The other project she did was our personal home. We moved in and didn't have a clue where to start. She guided us to the right stores and we found some beautiful, quality pieces. Some items were custom made while other came from discount stores. Jeanine is not afraid to mix in a few inexpensive pieces if they work for the room. For example, she found a replica of the valzer floor lamp. The original retails for $2000. For $100 at a local discount store, we received a very similar item. We get tons of compliments on that lamp. Jeanine has many contacts within the community and online companies. She charges only by the hour and passes on all trade discounts to the client. Her rate is very reasonable and she doesn't charge for travel time even if you need her to go to DC. She always works with you to find the best product for the space at the best possible price within a reasonable time frame. I cannot say enough good things about Jeanine. She has great taste, great connections with manufacturers, retailers, and contractors. She knows how to stay on budget, is easy to get along with. She is very accessible and responds quickly to phone calls and email. I highly recommend Jeanine to anyone looking for a designer who understand how to create a modern, contemporary place that is cozy.”
