“We've had crews from SJ Janis work on two separate projects over the years; one was to remodel the entire four bedroom second floor (including taking off 5 layers of roofing!) of our 100 year old home. The second was five years later for a sun porch update. Both were conducted with professionalism that made us not lose sleep at night (at least the fact that they came on time every day, cleaned up routinely and were very amiable to work with). They had great ideas, had good work ethic, and made our first project (the whole family lived in our living room for nine months) very tolerable. “We had a whole house interior remodel. We had a beautiful 1884 house in a great location but it had been converted to apartments and had a lot of original wiring and plumbing. We wanted to convert it back to a great lake house. The architect helped us design a great new floor plan that maximized the home's assets and included some unique special features that we wanted. They reinforced floors, walls and windows and replaced wiring, plumbing and woodwork. They essentially built a new interior that was stunning and yet maintained the style of the house. They also renovated an enclosed porch and an exterior porch that allowed us to make the most of the lake view. Bartelt started on time and stayed very close to the promised timeline. Weekly construction meetings were very helpful for keeping communication flowing and answering questions. The project manager and office manager were very responsive and helpful. The rough carpenters were fantastic - doing a great job and cleaning up every night. We had some additional costs because we decided to improve certain items as we uncovered hidden problems. Bartelt always did a good job of explaining our options. Their finish carpenter was a magician with the way that he installed the millwork and customized so many areas. The designer helped with suggestions for finishing touches that met our style preferences but also worked well with the style of the house. The overall experience was so much less stressful than we expected and actually very enjoyable. The entire staff was very professional and fun to work with. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.”

“Wallner Builders did a great job designing and constructing our lower level! Our family spends a lot of time using this classy, comfortable space. Who would think a basement could look so good? Ron planned it so that every inch is used effectively and the lighting is perfect. We have a large rec area, extra bedroom, exercise room, and a great bathroom. There are closets galore and a beautiful entertainment center. After the project was completed, Ron addressed every little question I had and dealt well with any concerns we had right away. We were so pleased with everything, we had Wallner Builders replace all the windows in our house in 2011. The workers were super-courteous and every mess was cleaned up before they left for the day. Wallner Builders pays very close attention to details. Flaws are practically non-existent. We recommend this company for any home renovation or construction project!”
