“John and his crew did an excellent job on our new deck. His estimate was great & he was very timely on the project. He showed up and completed the project exactly as he said. We replaced an old depreciated deck with a brand new Trex Deck one. John Graber & his crew did an outstanding job and the quality & workmanship is excellent! John & his crew were very friendly & easy to work with. We had multiple last-minute changes & requests and each and every one they accepted and handled with outstanding customer service and openness. They even helped us spread large rock that we put in under the deck after removal of the old one prior to the start of the build of the new one. You couldn't ask for a more friendly, customer oriented group of guys. They put up with all of our questions and changes without blinking an eye. And again, the quality and craftmanship of the build was excellent as well. The price was also very good as well. Couldn't be more pleased! Thanks again to you, John & O.J & Ezra! “Aarow Building is the best contractor I've ever used. They are doing a remodel of two bathrooms, replacing back stairs with an upstairs half bath, remodeling and combining two bedrooms into a one-room master suite that includes a walk-in closet, remodeling and combining a kitchen, dining room and living room into a great room area, replacing the front door, adding a mantel and installing a "garage-door-opener-driven" dumbwaiter. The crew all work directly for Aarow and most of them are college-educated. They are flexible and professional and they have been especially sensitive to the needs of my elderly mother who has dementia. They treat her with respect and took great pains to make her bathroom more accessible. Jake Bruton, Aarow's owner (who succeeded his father after 30 years in the business) comes every morning and we go over what got done the day before and consult about what will happen that day. He has a great attitude and we truly make decisions together. He meets me at stores when I am struggling with choices. Jake has guided the entire project, from design to completion (which happens next week). He has an art degree, which gives him a more nuanced understanding of design. Jake takes pride in the quality of the work and has redone many small things just to make sure we're completely satisfied (releveled a sink and tp holder, switched out a vanity, moved outlets, switched out a mirror, etc.). My only small complaint is that the project has taken longer than projected and is ending a bit close to Christmas. It's not all their fault because of unanticipated termite damage and mold. In the middle of the project, Jake had to terminate someone who was chronically late and I supported him in that, even though we lost some time. He is currently making an all-out push to make up lost time and get done, even pulling in his father to help. I would highly recommend this contractor. The overall experience has been very positive.”
