“I had the pleasure of working with Kathy when decorating my formal living room. I had seen something in the catalog and told her that I wanted the look but she took it to a whole other level. (My living room is in her photos with the white couch and fuchsia drapes). She added so much more and made it so much more like me. She took her time finding the perfect accent colors and accessories and working with some pieces that I already had as well. Everyone that saw it feel in love. Working with her on that project made me decide to decorate my family room, dining room and my bedroom as well. My house became something I was so proud to call my own. “We hired Doug to design and build a custom dining room table from cypress that my dad had given us. The wood came from a cypress deadhead that was pulled from the bottom of the Apalachicola River, and was absolutely beautiful. We looked for years for the right person to do this work before finding Doug. What he did surpassed our expectations, as he is not only a true craftsman, but an artist as well. He took the material, and crafted a one of a kind piece of furniture that is designed to show off the unique texture and color of the wood. The piece Doug designed is rustic yet elegant, and everyone who visits our home is drawn to it. Doug was a pleasure to work with through every phase of the project, and his work is meticulous. When we have any sort of design project for furniture, Doug is the only person we will work with.”
