“The owner of Old English Fireplace Benches recently delivered a beautiful club fender for a decorating project that I am doing in a historic hotel lobby. The large fireplace desperately needed furniture that created a welcoming, inviting feel to the area. For me, nothing does that as well as a club fender. Old English Fireplace Benches was easy to work with, and very helpful with suggestions as we custom tailored the bench to suit the fireplace. The workmanship is wonderful, and I know that my client will enjoy this bench for many years to come.”

“We hired Willie for a second time because we love his quiet, thoughtful manner of thinking with us about the best solution for our problems. This time, we asked him to replace the sliders on all of our bathroom and kitchen drawers and to re-build the fronts with "better material." Willie, like us, loves our house for its unusual design --- a four-story tree house with a funky mixture of new and old materials. He convinced us that the plywood fronts to the drawers would look great if just sanded and refinished and that they would match the rest of the house. He also removed a half-wall and extended some shelves -- a process that unearthed an uneven floor. Unflappable in the face of difficulty, he did the best job I could imagine with this problem.”

And their design is so lovely; Susan worked with our budget requirements and was very creative, still bringing a truly special touch to our home. “I love this store! We moved into a new house and I needed a few pieces to "fill in" the empty spaces. Kim and Eric have a great assortment of different styles of furniture and accent pieces that works even with my eclectic style. They listen to what your "vision" is and work with you to find something that fits with that vision all the while providing you with design considerations. There prices are very reasonable and the quality of the furniture is very good! I have also used them for window treatments as well. Even when I am not shopping for something specific, I do try and drop in every couple of months to see what they have for accessories. You never know what treasure you will find!”
