“As the senior structural designer on one project, and design manager on a following project, I worked closely with the Glasshape team on the specification, installation and approval of a large number (100+) of marine glazing panels. Marine glazing is particularly challenging due to the harsh environment and very high quality standards required by both the client and the approval authorities. The Glasshape team were a pleasure to work with right from the initial phase of the projects, through to completion. They provided additional technical and practical assistance to wherever possible to assist in obtaining classification society approval. The laminated glazing panels performed above design requirements during testing which was very re-assuring, and is a testiment to the quality of the final product (the testing requirements for the glazing panels required some significant pressure tests). The panels provided my Glasshape represent some of the highest quality marine glazing I have witnessed during my 14 years in the industry. The delivery times were as discussed during the development of the project, and any alterations to the original specification and quote were discussed and agreed in a timely and professional manner.
