“I have used Fairfax Floors for two projects and the “5” rating is well deserved. They installed beautiful wood flooring on the lower level, stairs and upper hall of my townhouse. Miguel’s installation work was impeccable. The latest project required a customized rug for an awkward dining room space. Kevin offered a creative solution and had the rug made. Very pleased with the result. I highly recommend Fairfax Floors. I found them reasonably priced, projects were completed on time and customer service was excellent. I plan to use them again.”

“Marcin both refinished my hardwood floors and installed carpet in my two bedrooms. The hardwood floors, which had been covered in carpet for over 40 years and hadn't been cleaned, or probably even looked at, in decades, looked like the floor of a crackhouse when I pulled up the carpet. Marcin and his crew made them look fabulous, and replaced the plywood (where there were radiators in my very old condo) with wood that matches pretty perfectly. He reduced the squeaking in my old, old floors by thoroughly nailing down the old boards, and in the end the original hardwood floors look amazing. Then I had carpet installed in the bedrooms- his crew showed up right on time, took care with my furniture, and left my place very clean and tidy. Thank you!”

“Clawes refinished my wood floors on the main floor of my house and installed new carpeting in the upper level of the house. They were on time, and did a very good job with everything. Their prices weren't the lowest for the carpeting but I did get a very nice quality product. The installation was excellent. The wood floor refinishing was priced competitively when you consider that they always apply 3 coats of polyurethane. All the other companies I talked to only apply 2 coats.”

“I hired Hawkins Flooring to install carpet and refinish the hard floors in my home. Their staff was very professional. I was able to obtain an estimate quickly and was given a fair price the work. “Steve Rados and his company are extremely professional. He came to measure at the appointed time and brought a good array of carpet samples. The carpet was installed two weeks later, also at the specified time. I received emails to remind me of the installation. The two installers were courteous, friendly, and obviously knowledgeable about installing carpet. They showed me what they were going to do and how they would do it. They were very careful when moving furniture out of and back into the room -- something that was important to me. They carefully cleaned up when done. I thought the price was very fair. I would absolutely use Friends & Family Flooring again and would definitely recommend them.”
