“We needed a carpenter to do a couple of jobs in our house. We were recommended Adrian. He was prompt, polite, tidy, efficient and did an excellent job. He re-inforced our stairs, fitted a skirting board and fixed our squeaky floor boards that have been a problem for years. We were very pleased with the results. The quality of the work is outstanding and has made a huge positive difference to our house; 3. Although expensive compared to off-the shelf products, Ashcrest Joinery was significantly cheaper and more flexible than quotes we got from much bigger companies; 4. There were also a few negatives: 2021 was a difficult year with Covid delays of all sorts; Ashcrest was a small business going through growing pains, and Rob had a tendency to take on more than he could manage, so delivery dates suffered - it all took a lot longer than originally planned, and I had to draw on my reserves of patience. But I am totally delighted with the results, which I enjoy every day homeworking, sitting at and enjoying my beautiful desk designed just for me; and my wife Anja enjoys the beautiful doors every day.
