“We have been working with Ashland Millwork for a couple of years and recently completed our 5th project with them. the sales team is first class and they hit the mark for their product knowledge and scheduling, both of which are a must for us. They have an amazing library of millwork profiles and we have also designed custom knives for higher end homes. Their product line for windows and doors is very deep and they always are competitive on price. We give Ashland 5 stars and will continue our partnership!”

大工の種類


建築工法が多様化した今日、Hoffman Estates, ILの大工は仕事の内容によってさまざまな種類に分類されます。

    左官とは


    和の邸宅に合うような漆喰壁を施工するというイメージが強い左官職人ですが、モルタルやタイルなどの素材を使って壁を塗る人も含まれます。施工には特に資格は必要ありませんが、国家技能検定である「左官技能士」や「登録左官基幹技能者」という資格を有している職人さんもおり、プロを選ぶ判断の一助となることでしょう。最近ではDIYでも珪藻土の塗り壁の施工を行う人が多いですが、マスキングの技術や、下塗り、(場合によっては) 中塗り、上塗りとその工程は意外と時間がかかり難儀なもの。また、下地に密着しきれずカビが生えてしまった、ひび割れしてしまったなどのトラブルもあるのだそうです。繊細な仕上げを求めるのであれば、プロに左官工事を依頼するのがベストです。
