Our first set of built-ins made it possible for us to have desperately needed storage and closet space, a desk, television closet and a single bed with a trundle underneath for our then 3 year old. As she got older, and we no longer needed room for toys, we remodeled the same room and our bedroom. The design was perfect for a late teenager (lots of storage still) with a larger desk, more floor room and a bed with storage.
