“We didn't end up hiring John Canty, but we probably should have! Our house is in need of a full gut job. John was very helpful and knowledgeable when he came in to look at our house. We ended up hiring another contractor, who we have since fired, because he worked with a friend a friend of ours. We should have known that you need to mesh with your GC and create good communication lines with them -- we learned quickly that just because a GC worked well with someone you know, it doesn't mean they'll work well with you! John was very upfront and honest about the costs and quality of the job we'd get, and we should have trusted our gut instinct to hire him! It's been 4 months and we're still waiting to get started on our house.”

“I am a designer based in Concord (Fresh Start Interiors) and have used Duane twice for built-ins in my own home. He is very talented and he delivers really beautiful finely made custom built-ins. I've had him do a banquette, bookcases, large entertainment center and mudroom cubbies. All were beautiful, well constructed and got many compliments. I have even used his stellar carpentry services to install kitchen cabinetry which he did not build - although he crafts gorgeous custom cabinets as well! “We hired Mike and Maureen to give us ideas to remodel our kitchen. They gave us multiple computerized models of our options. They were professional, knowledgeable, and understanding of our concerns. They gave us an estimate of the cost and a deadline for completion. The cost was on target, and they finished the job before their estimated deadline. We also decided to have them put in a bay window while they were at it. We are very pleased with their work, and we still get complements about our kitchen. “Mark Del Guidice has built 2 kitchens for me. each was quite different with lots of surface detail used in his furniture. He is very easy and creative to work with. the first kitchen redo was in 2008. We worked on the design together. It was completed in 9 months. The second kitchen was designed from the beginning in new construction. it also involved lots of bookcases and cabinets in an adjacent family room. Job took 3 years from design concept to completion. Again, we worked together to design it. A very large job and was handled professionally at all times.”
