“My garage floor and driveway had heaved and were very cracked due to extremely expansive soil conditions. I hired Sherrick Construction to tear out existing material and pour new garage floor and driveway. Installing rebar is a must with these types of soil conditions. The Sherrick crew also put in 6-8" of non-expansive road-base and compacted before pouring. Tony Sherrick is a very knowledgeable engineer, especially in dealing with expansive soils. Recommendation for work to be done was accurate and the cost was very reasonable. The Sherrick crew was very professional and very quick. I was impressed with the speed, quality and completeness (including cleanup). Actual duration of the project was 2 days. 10 dump trucks of material (concrete and dirt) were taken away. I give Sherrick Construction 4.5 stars. Would have been 5 stars, but the final float finish could have been better.”
