“Chris turned up when he said he was going to, did a great job, cleared up after himself and the starry ceilings (we started with one, and had him come back and do a second one) were fab. We then asked him to create a custom mural for us, which he did (different to his usual stuff). It's a stunning mural, which I admire every day, and had many friends remark on it. It's not cheap, but I wouldn't expect it to be when the work is such a skilled craft.”

“I asked Conscious Forms to make a freestanding island from concrete together with a kitchen top and I'm thrilled with the results. From start to finish the communication with Junior at Conscious Forms was fantastic, giving advice and keeping me informed about the process. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them, what you will get is something that feels bespoke and special and not a manufactured piece. It really was like watching a work of art come together and Junior's passion for his craft was a joy to work with. “Bought a custom made stainless steel window from Macmade. The window is better than I expected. I’m really pleased with it. Macmade did a great job. It took slightly longer to get than I expected but if I had ordered a standard Crittal window the lead time was 16 weeks and Macmade was able to get it to me within 12 weeks. All in all really pleased with the job.”

“Gary's pieces are well composed, thoughtful and creative. Each creation is a true work of art and has a story to tell. I have given many of his works as gifts and kept a few for myself. “In search of the perfect housewarming gift, I came across the Lu West sailboat print on Houzz which was just too good to be true! All kinds of lovely blues and swirls, the print was as lovely in person as it looked online. Alongside that, the print was delivered quickly, promptly, and when I emailed to request an estimated delivery date, (I needed it ASAP) Lu West got back to me immediately confirming the shipping details and it had turned up before I knew it! She was very honest and highlighted that art bought for our one bedroom flat 20 years ago may not work in our new family home! Louisa found places to hang some favoured pieces and then worked with us to find new pieces for six spaces including our study, living room, entrance, bedroom.   • 画家：絵画制作の専門家。広義ではイラストレーターやグラフィックデザイナーも含まれます。一般的に、画家が自らの創作意欲に基づいて自分の描きたいテーマで作品を仕上げて絵画を販売するのに比べ、イラストレーターやグラフィックデザイナーはクライアントからの依頼に基づいて作品を作るところが大きな違いです。
  • 版画家：版画で作品を表現するアーティスト。版画は、木、金属、石などの面に像を描き、その上にインクなどを塗って紙に転写して絵画を作成する方法で、木版画、銅版画、リトグラフ（石版画）など色々な種類があります。
  • 工芸家：実用品に芸術的な手を加えた作品をつくる専門家。「クラフトデザイナー」とも呼ばれます。扱う素材により、木工工芸家、ガラス工芸家、染色工芸家などさまざまな種類があります。陶芸家や彫刻家も広義では工芸家と言えます。
  • 陶芸家：粘土を整形し窯で焼いて陶磁器などをつくる専門家。「陶工」とも呼ばれます。
  • 彫刻家：素材を彫り込んで立体作品、オブジェなどをつくる専門家。
