“Bought a custom made stainless steel window from Macmade. The window is better than I expected. I’m really pleased with it. Macmade did a great job. It took slightly longer to get than I expected but if I had ordered a standard Crittal window the lead time was 16 weeks and Macmade was able to get it to me within 12 weeks. All in all really pleased with the job.”

“In search of the perfect housewarming gift, I came across the Lu West sailboat print on Houzz which was just too good to be true! All kinds of lovely blues and swirls, the print was as lovely in person as it looked online. Alongside that, the print was delivered quickly, promptly, and when I emailed to request an estimated delivery date, (I needed it ASAP) Lu West got back to me immediately confirming the shipping details and it had turned up before I knew it! If you're looking for a gift or a soft, tasteful print for the home, Lu West is a great shout - would definitely recommend!”

“We have loved working with Louisa, art consultant . Having moved into a new home, we had Louisa review our existing art. She was very honest and highlighted that art bought for our one bedroom flat 20 years ago may not work in our new family home! Louisa found places to hang some favoured pieces and then worked with us to find new pieces for six spaces including our study, living room, entrance, bedroom. “We’ve just finished refurbishing our home and wanted to add a splash of colour to the main open plan living area. AttikoArt was brilliant because we were able to select two quite different prints and coordinate their colours so that they worked together. What a great idea! We went for Indy Razz in blue and yellow, and Bruma Ray in yellow and green. Thoroughly recommended.”

“I have purchased several picture from DegreeArt.com and each time have been wowed by the quality of the end to end service offered by the team. Everyone you speak to is able to help source, plan, (and in some instances hang) each piece of art to suit your taste and budget. If what they have isn't perfect they also offer a commissioning service which has enabled me, for example, to fit a particular piece to the space I have on the wall. I haven't had the same experience with other art websites (DegreeArt.com also have a gallery where you can see pieces in person before buying) and I don't think I would buy art from anywhere but DegreeArt.com.”

お部屋を飾るインテリアとなる作品を作るアーティストや工芸家には、次のような種類があります。
  • 画家：絵画制作の専門家。広義ではイラストレーターやグラフィックデザイナーも含まれます。一般的に、画家が自らの創作意欲に基づいて自分の描きたいテーマで作品を仕上げて絵画を販売するのに比べ、イラストレーターやグラフィックデザイナーはクライアントからの依頼に基づいて作品を作るところが大きな違いです。
  • 版画家：版画で作品を表現するアーティスト。版画は、木、金属、石などの面に像を描き、その上にインクなどを塗って紙に転写して絵画を作成する方法で、木版画、銅版画、リトグラフ（石版画）など色々な種類があります。
  • 工芸家：実用品に芸術的な手を加えた作品をつくる専門家。「クラフトデザイナー」とも呼ばれます。扱う素材により、木工工芸家、ガラス工芸家、染色工芸家などさまざまな種類があります。陶芸家や彫刻家も広義では工芸家と言えます。
  • 陶芸家：粘土を整形し窯で焼いて陶磁器などをつくる専門家。「陶工」とも呼ばれます。
  • 彫刻家：素材を彫り込んで立体作品、オブジェなどをつくる専門家。
